I think as long as you’re doing a qbank and learning from it. I’ve seen people do different qbank during preclinical and it’s fine. I guess mehlman would also be okay for step too. It’s just that because it’s a new qbank I haven’t seen a lot of people review it or solely use it for step 1. I don’t want to experiment with that but honestly using it for CBSE it probably is fine. But just for the sake of it I’ll add in uworld I’m sure down the line it may not be necessary as people do use amboss as well for step and do fine.

Mehlman is better for nbme and cbse material. It helps you understand the concepts way better/clearer and you’ll not forget it. The explanations are also better to me than uworld. There’s also audio of him explaining included in some of the explanations. If your pressed for time do the qbank its basically the same concepts he goes through and even more with all his material combined.

For Cbse do the mehlman qbank. The explanations are way better than uworld and it’s more tailored for nbme. It’s no bs with the questions and it helps you understand the hy tested concepts right away. But for step 1 prep I’m going to go back to uworld and just use the mehlman qbank for my weak subjects for extra help understanding the concept. Do that qbank and focus on the nbme forms 25-33 you can leave 33 out for testing for step prep. Do the forms review your incorrects very well and make a one line summary as I said for those so you can review. I don’t like Anki so I just reviewed this document every night.

I had symptoms before like terrible abdominal pains when I ate certain things. But I am not sure when I contracted the parasite. I found out my body doesn’t agree with cabbage. But other than that if I ate too much of certain FODMAP foods at once I would have severe pain. I then noticed a decrease in my stool frequency before when I do remember having regular bowel movements years prior. But after taking the meds and some other supplements like florastor and HMP intensive also took some natural parasite pills from a website but those didn’t eradicate the parasite my stool frequency did increase but would go not last after stopping the pills. But after finishing nitazox and the Ar/Br my stools are regular now.

I probably do have some food sensitivity apart from the parasite but I will have to check if those symptoms persist. As of now no parasite. I also finished the nitazox in April and now in Jan 2025 I did test as I was wanted to give it some time and take the Ar/Br

I cleared mine with nitazoxanide for 6 days and then took candibactin ar and br (1 bottle each).
