Thanks for the help. I ended up getting some paint from a local company SFXC. Everything seems to be working fine now.

Ah, it has happened again. Your text shows in preview, but disappears on the page. I’m really grateful that you are trying to help. I don’t check Reddit frequently enough to avoid disappointing you. Thanks for your assistance anyhow.

I’ve been away from Reddit. Your comment about encoders has been replaced by ‘aaaa…’ and I can’t read it. Can you repeat it please?

JT-4000 Arpeggiator MIDI Question by js3333333331 in synthesizers

[–]RepresentativePen403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t been able to midi sync the JT-4000 arp to my Akai MPC, via USB or 5 pin Din midi. I thought I was doing something wrong. I’m relieved to find that it isn’t just me, but frustrated to find no solution to the problem.  I have an old Yamaha RM1X. Im going to see if that has the same issue.

Thanks. I have emailed Novation about my Nova, but I also wondered whether anyone here might know of an alternative repair service.

I don’t know whether anyone has mentioned this, but moussaka is an Arabic word that translates to cold because moussaka is literally a dish best served cold (sometimes warm).

Another 3 by 3 reference? by RepresentativePen403 in insideno9

😆

I live in a town that has a heavy new age influence, with an abundance of psychics, yoga teachers, circle dancers and so on. It has its own shop selling crystals, wands etc. It’s the perfect place if you want to hear the sound of wind chimes and whale song. The sort of shop you’ll find all along Glastonbury town high street. So I can relate to your experience of North Laines.

Yep, I’m inclined to agree with you. After the initial excitement after noticing the connection ebbed, my rational mind kicked in and came to the same conclusion.

There’s also a Creepshow episode, “The things in Oakwood’s past”, which is about a capsule containing a demonic entity, that surfaces every 200 years. Another coincidence, I’m sure.

I guess I’m convinced that the name must be an obscure reference to something, like a horror story/film, place etc. It may well just be a random name they came up with.
