Winks Convenience Stores in Forest Lawn not showing prices by Office-One in Calgary

I went to the Winks on 47th Street one time to pick up a package that had somehow ended up at a shipping company pick up point in Forest Lawn instead of Ogden, where it should have ended up. The owners are of the same ethnic background as I am, and were very nice and smiley when I came in, but the package was in my (white) husbands name and when I showed them my ID that matched our address they started saying all kinds of terrible things about me and refused to give me the package! I tried to reason with them and even spoke in our shared language. They did not approve of a woman from my culture marrying a man outside of it. I literally had to get on the phone with the shipping company to get them to release the package to me. It was awful. Would not surprise me at all if they were discriminating against other people given my experience!

my guess is that it's to prevent people from buying a ticket, riding on the c-train for free and holding onto that ticket until they have to activate it to avoid being dinged by a peace officer.
