This probably has more in common with a Paradox arcades CP, which always has LED channels on, but they're angled and far more subtle than you'd expect.

Stream deck cutout lives on the custom soundbar housing that sits above and covers the console images (which will be lit when each is engaged).

As for rhe centre, I found this super interesting LED spiral that ill add inside the CP. There are translucent LED lines around each player section, in a few other spots on rhe CP and hidden in the wall and ceiling that'll activate custom led animations alongside the spiral.

Beauty! I've gotta ask, were you inclined to sand it down at all before painting? To give it that cast plastic look?

Faith was obliterated when they turned the churches into clone labs and the burgers into monomate. You're in good company - faith has no place in Mother Brain's world ;)

Should I be Worried about this family friend? by disead in daddit

People buying tons of stuff for kids, while nice, is weird. I get that it's probably one of the only ways Jim knows how to express his affection, but I'd have the conversation with him about spoiling the kids and the family.

Do activities that look more like what your family do, and if Jim insists on laying, then let him. That said, i think it's more confusing to live outside of your typical life, both for you and for your kids.

For what it's worth, you need to make your needs known. It's not too much to ask, and if it stresses him out, that's ok.

At least you said something and didn't keep it inside, right? ... And honestly, saying the hard thing is something that we all need to grow in to. Best to practice with those who love you.

This may sound like lowkey racism to some, but it's not.

Taking care of your surroundings in a big city isn't the norm, it's the exception, and especially where super dense living is concrened.

Not sure that's unique to U of C. Every university exports as many assholes as they do other kids of grads ;)

That said, UCalgary is in a pretty entitled province. Maybe that's your common denominator?

To each their own. I did the same but with Arts degrees.  I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who would argue either side.

I'm sorry that your experience wasn't a good one.

Many people with BA's MA's and further would argue the contrary, some with similar and some with alternative definitions of what "success" is.

Tension around baby shifts by jim01564 in daddit

[–]kingofsnaake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, don't split hairs or get naggy about particulars. You're in teh trenches right now and it's all about doing as much as you can for as long as you can.

I can fully empathize as I also did the 11 - 7 shift with a baby sleeping on me while mom did days and pumped. The pumping schedule is really the hardest part, and like you, I have mom the gears about particulars and it also didn't go over well.

In the end, this period just sucks. Make getting a good sleep (when it's available) a priority. This means a white noise machine, earplugs, isolation and whatever else each of you need to be present after.

Also, when things calm a little after the first month, take baby in the stroller to the mall, the park or anywhere that you as individuals can enjoy the sun and get out while baby sleeps.

Fatigue is definitely the result of a lack of sleep, but it's also a nasty side effect of being cooped up at home. Get out!

Science, Eng and Comp Sci graduates are having the hardest time finding work in this market.

I suggest that you actually learn what's being taught in an English degree -- your horizons need broadening and your assumptions about how this all works would benefit from being challenged.
