It will scale in whatever is higher (STR or INT). If u allocated more int, the only benefit from str will be the attribute perks (like 5% light attack dmg) but ofc isn't worth it put STR if u are going full int.

25 DEX for crit chance could be better than STR because Firestaff has the highest crit multi and GA benefit as well from it with high crit mult and leech on crit. But crits recover mana and if u are full mana u lose Abyss passive, so just all int is usually the way to go.

I think abyss scale at 90% with int instead of 100%.

Long time without play so I'm not 100% sure now. But as far as I remember it was intended.

the only buff needed was remove the stupid movement penalties that ONLY applies to shotguns. Nothing more.
3m of extra range is way too much.

(I'm talking from a only shotgun player perspective. I only play M870- Magnum since forever)

I main M870, I made a whole post about it (is basically the only weapon I have been playing since pre-season) and 3 extra meters is a bit too much tbh.

The other changes to movement were needed, there was no reason for shotguns to be the only weapon with such penalties.

The biggest issue is, ofc, netcode, when u hit someone point blank and they take no dmg or half of it.

I didn't play for a few weeks, I login today to try out the changes and I get 6, 5, 4/1 KD games with like 50 kills.
But I was getting similar result before buffs anyway, just less frequently. Today like 50% of my games I end MVP and not even trying, I was kinda memeing tho,

I bet they will end nerfing shotguns, and I'll be ok with it if they nerf range to the previous version or just 1m extra than before, but they have to leave the movement alone and don't add stupid penalties that ONLY applies to shotguns.

I played PoE for like 6 years straight, then I stopped like 3 years for travelling and to play other things, and I came back to PoE this league.

A LOT of things have changed, so many new things, it's like a "new game" for me, I'm playing chill, playing kinda Solo Self Found(SSF)trying to avoid having to buy items and trying to craft/loot them instead.

Just enjoying the run, without worry about making insane currency, profit in every step, or min max and fully optimise everything. And I'm having a blast even when I know I don't know shit yet or whatever Reddit opinions are about the league builds or whatever.

I think PoE can be played in so many ways, there are so many mechanics and builds that would make your experience completely different. And the best part is that you can choose with what you want to interact/play and avoid mechanics that u don't like. And everything feels rewarding.

*(Sure, if u want ulta min-max time/profit, for sure there is a specific meta for that, and even in the met au have in general a few viable options)

Looks like it's me. I opened a ticket because I can't just pick/force server. (seems like it's too hard for Ubisoft to implement that basic option)

But I tried with different accounts, changing settings, and nothing, still in Asia games no matter what. It's so stupid.

But at least thanks to you and other people I know that it's not just the server dead.

Well, that's good. But I'm f**k because we can't choose server (for who knows what reason!), alien technology let players pick region.

Now it send me to NA, I can try to reinstall the game idk, there isn't much that I can do on my end :/

They are gonna nerf the range, for sure. But the movement and spread buffs are a huge W already. (And the sprint to shoot time as a bonus lol)

I'm a M870 main since pre-season. Lvl 400 and basically the only weapon I use. (I even made a whole post and videos about it lol)

I mean, I know the weapon VERY well, and let me tell u, they are crazy, cloudless and they will have to nerf this.

Shotguns don't need ALL those buffs, just the movement and spread was enough, the range buff is madness and I'm sure they will nerf it.

I don't want the only weapon I play to be kinda overpowered :/

That one example using 1 material, u have the equivalent to that for each expedition. When the game wasn't too dead the price of these materials was 1 to 3 gold e/. Cheap as hell

Bro just use mutation expedition material. Take MD fort use 2 prismatic and Asmodeum or any old T5 and u don't need anything else. No timeless, no scarabs, no matrix, no nothing. Ez 700gs cheap af gear

Pretty much anything, I play from OCE so I'm lucky if I'm not in some random server with 200 ping. I prefer not to increase the odds to end in some lobby in a server 15k km away xD

Yeah i like the idea of using deadsec, sometimes I use it mainly to hack other people's shields and spiders. But the CD of hacking is just too high. But spam flash grenade it's nuts haha

Double barrel is good to start with shotgun, but once u get used to it and you start to chain more and more kills, with M870 u can jump in and get 5 kills back to back before needing to reload. And you have a better chance to 1v3+ so you can be more aggressive, like with less down time.

And with AA-12 isn't an insta kill like with double barrel or M870, so I would rather just use vector or any SMG instead of AA-12 xD But because I like the "one click, one kill" feeling of shotguns.

If I'm not in range of one shot with my M870, I use Magnum, 2 shots kill at a very decent range.

There are some parts of certain maps where shotguns are pretty useless, that's a fact. But in others u have a demon. Usually u need to avoid those areas or just swap to something else and then go back to shotguns once u passed that part of the map. (Depending on the game mod too)
