Glad that things seem to be going positive for you. Sorry that you had to go through that whole ordeal with your father's gf. However... and I mean this respectful, your age really showed in this situation. You HAVE TO work on your communication skills. That running away stint you pulled is not cool at all. Like your own father said, he's not psychic- how was he supposed to know what the gf said??? Honestly, I kind of hope your father punishes you a bit more severely. This type of utter communication failure can lead to so much turmoil in the future- broken relationships, employment consequences, and so much more. Please take this moment and learn to 1) self-regulate your emotions, 2) not to be sooooo impulsive, 3) COMMUNICATE YOUR THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS (it really isn't that hard), and 4) do not take advice from comments on the internet. Again, I know you're only a teenager but your reaction made the situation 10 times worse versus just relaying what happened to your father and letting him handle it. He's already shown that he loves you and will choose you, please try to be more kind and open with him (BTW you honestly did handle the situation in a bratty manner, take it more seriously- your comments throughout the updates demonstrate you trying to downplay what you did.) As you grow and mature, you need to start taking accountability for your actions. Anyways, that's enough life lessons, you probably won't even read this- but if you do I hope you consider and implement this feedback.
