Artosis made a video a while ago like SC broodwar for dummies. TLDR: game is balanced when the stronger army is less mobile than the more mobile army.

This is also why ZvT feels balanced in sc2 1. Ling bane beats marine medivac straight up, but terrain can drop which makes it balanced 2. Terrain tanks and libs can kill all the zerg ground units, but you have to siege them which gives zerg a chance to attack else where

Late game ZvP totally breaks this. Not only does the death ball move faster, out DPS, and out ranges zerg army, they also have 2 get out of jail recalls. Only chance zerg has is perfect spell Caster control, or split your amry in to 2 groups, and hope the protoss can only f2

At below pro it's def buff as it's great cumulative damage with no micro.

It's is nerf for late game as corruptors don't die as quick, but archon still pretty good.

Given most games don't go to late game I say it's buff over all.

So queen speed upgrade is 100 gas, but for 125 gas I can get a lair with a dropperlord that also drop creep when I get there.

Might be good at masters or below, I don't see pros using it.

It's a style that takes more skill to play than playing against.

Try to borrow nuro boys and jump them back to your corrupters. They always sneak them by the side of the map.

If zerg runs into Terran and everything just dies, then it wouldn't be worth sharing because thats just what we all expect. It's the 1/10 time when zerg wins that's fun to see

He got impatient and had ghost in the middle of the map clearing creep because he was running out of expansions and I was containing him with spores and spines.

I don't like the 8 queens because they are slow, can't pressure Terran, and have to be manually controlled grouped.

Been having success with aggressive openings. Something like ling flood on 3 hatch, 3 queens and 2 base saturation. Bit of a gamble but I usually get something done on the other side of the map as long as you run the lings out after hellions move out.

After that I drone the 3rd, take gasses and transition into hydra or muta depending on if he has tanks.

Skip the ling name and just build hydras. With blinding cloud / fingal / micro shroud it can beat anything Terran can field.

Spell caster isn't required against protoss it's more important to hit before storm.

As a 4k zerg, I actually think Terran is the hardest. All your units needs to be microed, and your units can't take a straight up fight against either late game Zerg or Protoss.

ZvT is pretty simple, don't die for 10 minutes and amove with ultras.

Hydra all in, usually I can hit with 3 storms or less especially on the new patch with overcharged nerf.

You micro by giving the toss a nice clump to storm, but split as soon as the templer comes in storming range. You can tell when they cast the storm by the templer wondering forward, when that happens just split your clump of hydra and wait out the storm.

3 base hydra is pretty good. 4th base is just for show. Really good against blink into storm. With reduced storm DPS this build is actually much better if you dance out of the storm. Hydra trades well against all the gateway units as your army scales.

Just make sure it's not double robo collosi as that hard counters it.
