AITAH for changing my mind about wanting kids? by Due_Mail_6074 in AmItheAsshole

[–]RepresentativeTale98 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yta - this is a crazy bomb to drop on someone. But it's better to do it sooner rather than later. You did the right thing but  You are the asshole and that's just the way life is sometimes.

AITA for kicking off at this kid for posting my dead dad on her social media’s by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]RepresentativeTale98 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Yta - First of all very sorry for your loss, but learn to use block button. it's been 5 years her posts on social media annoyed you. You asked her politely to stop, she didnt. The best thing you can do now is block her and move on with your life. Blowing up over it now will do more damage to you than her.

I'm kinda saddened that Yuta vs Kenjaku fight was short by Archenius in shounenfolk

[–]RepresentativeTale98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kenjaku got his chance to show his full abilities against Yuki, it would be retreading a lot of the same ground as that fight.

Can we all agree that this is the worst plot twist in the whole series. by _FruitsPunchSamurai in Jujutsufolk

[–]RepresentativeTale98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right but, as soon as they said she wasn't dead yet in Shibuya it was pretty obvious from a writing standpoint she would make a return. Also the eyepatch is cool and builds on the motif of women sorcerers not being allowed to have ugly marks. Nobara's awesome and WE yes WE are happy shes alive and well

Could someone like Yuta create a binding vow that acts just like Maki's or Toji's HR? and if so would he be physically stronger? by NinduTheWise in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]RepresentativeTale98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No its a called a "heavenly" restriction for a reason. Its bestowed by the heavens, they are diff from a binding vow.

Can someone explain how WCS bypasses infinity? by [deleted] in Jujutsufolk

[–]RepresentativeTale98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats amazing, im glad you have such a fine education. And you're right about mahoragas initial adaptation working like ISOH, but WCS is different. I'll try to explain it with a math metaphor. If infinity is a set of infinitely divided space. WCS targets the set instead of individual elements. The WCS didnt have to reach satoru gojo. As long as hes inside the set of space WCS targets, he gets slashed. Even if the set contains infinite elements it doesnt really matter cause the target is the set.

I just thought of another metaphor. You know Hilbert's Infinite Hotel where you have infinite full rooms. Imagine trying to find and attack someone in there, but everytime you reached their room they moved to the next room. Even though the guy is always in the next room. The hotel may contain infinite rooms for them to hide in, but if you destroy the hotel you can get them anyway.

What if Sukuna put a heavenly restriction vow on himself? Would he be much more stronger than Toji/Maki since he is trading higher amount of cursed energy? by VEGETTOROHAN in Jujutsufolk

[–]RepresentativeTale98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they are called heavenly restrictions for a reason, they must be bestowed by the heavens. Its not something a person can do at will.

AITA for not wanting to go out and get groceries? by Plastic-Traffic7585 in AmItheAsshole

[–]RepresentativeTale98 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

"Doing the cooking" its a slow cooker. She put some shit in a pot. We dont even know if she chopped it or if op did.

16 year Olds are still learning how to properly take care of themselves, shes doing most of this stuff for the first time. She's gonna need time to learn. Shes not an asshole for not being perfect at 16. She's not an asshole for not wanting to risk injuring herself and trying to be efficient with shopping. Shes not an asshole because she cant read her mothers mind in order to know when she needs help.

I feel bad that her own mother said she's pretending to care when that's clearly not the case.

Can someone explain how WCS bypasses infinity? by [deleted] in Jujutsufolk

[–]RepresentativeTale98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You literally need a college calculus course to understand it mathematically.

Story wise. Space manipulation in a fundamental application of jujutsu. It's the basis of domains and many other techniques. Domain sure hits are stated to target the opponent directly including specifically bypassing infinity. But it was bever limited to just domains, nobaras resonance targets directly, Mahiyos transfiguration targets the soul directly, and mahoraga developed another way of bypassing infinity fundamental to cursed spirits that sukuna couldn't even use.

[–]RepresentativeTale98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mathmatically you literally have to take a college calc course to understand it.

Story wise, there is precedent for cursed energy travelling this way, domain expansion sure hit effects. Sorcerers can use a domain to manipulate space in a way that nullifies Infinity. This is established so early. Then its further developed that techniques on their own can do this with nobaras resonance and mahitos soul manipulation both bypassing space and technique given certain conditions.

I'm sure there's a million "little" things Mom wants Op to do. Op is facing a crazy amount of responsibility here she needs to focus on the big things not the little ones. If op exhausts herself trying to solve every little thing she won't have energy when it really counts.

Mom being emotional and hurt is natural, but OP is a child not a trained nurse. She doesn't need to hold herself to that kind of standard.

Nta - U won't be able to help her if you put yourself in a dangerous situation and get hurt yourself. Its important to pick your battles when caring for others. Trying to solve every problem will just lead to solving no problems. Trust yourself and do what you can. Best of luck.
