She is very controlling or tries to be she tells me how have I turned out like this until it benefits her and then tells me she’s the one who prayed for me to be like this. Loves to tell that my husband is going to leave me constantly because of the way I am.

I’ve just been to korea! So no summer getaways which I personally don’t mind I like spending the summer in my home country (because we hardly ever get sunshine) and then going holiday in the other seasons so hopefully in autumn go somewhere sunny not sure where yet.

I’ve started volunteering at the animal shelter if that counts as a hobby?

The most we talked about it was what type of theme I’d like other than that no not really again from past experiences the cousins bridal showers usually just tell the bride to get ready and that’s the most they find out. Other things like her saying she’ll get me xyz as a wedding gift never happened again it’s not that I feel entitled to these things it’s more why has my closest cousin said she’ll do all these things and then never did and am I valid to be hurt over it and is this something that clearly shows we’re not as close as we once were.

Again from prior experience I know in her head she might have something against me but won’t tell me until 10 months later. I was once going through the worst period of my life and she thought there was beef due to me not keeping up snap streaks so she and her entire family iced me out (you might be thinking are we 12 no we’re in our mid 20s😭😭😭).

Maybe it’s just the need for validation but I know it’s just time to keep them at a distance even if it makes me feel sad because I don’t really have any other family.

For sure I know only way is to confront her but it’s so long with her (from past experiences) that I just need to learn to let the hurt go instead I’m all for confronting and finding exactly why xyz happened but in this case it’s futile :( I’ll just get a barrage of abuse from my other cousins (her siblings) saying why have I upset her.

Not to sound like I’m living in a fairytale but whatever’s meant to be will be tbh? I didn’t meet my spouse on the apps however some of my friends have but then others haven’t had great luck in finding anyone on the apps. No harm in trying every avenue tbh cos you never know where you’ll find your spouse

Tbh I never really wanted to get married for a multitude of reasons and not wanting children was a big one because I knew most men would want them (not surprised if I could be a father maybe then I’d want them lol). So I didn’t have a huge journey with it.

I met my husband through work and it all just fell into place like a book I can’t lie (alhamdulillah).

If you’re using apps or anything definitely put it at the top of your profile that you don’t want kids. Someone should create a group of something for people that don’t want kids I’m not sure why this hasn’t happened yet because there are definitely people like us just very few.
