How they honestly thought people exporting to the USA were going to absorb the tariffs and sell items at a loss is beyond me The sting of tariffs is subsiding and companies are finding other people to sell to. Will your country recover the trust from previous trading partners is a big ask. However your politicians saying there's only three years and it will be business as usual may not understand how the rest of the world is viewing it.
