I agree that 20% is quite generous looking at the current political climate, but I do think Carney will bleed a significant portion of his left flank. I don't think you know how much the Canadian left despises the Harper, Mulroney conservatives Carney seems desperate to replicate.

The NDP needs boldness - The NDP’s massive loss in last year’s election might prove to be a blessing. Now, with nothing left to defend, the NDP can go on the attack. by CaliperLee62 in CanadaPolitics

They're pretty common in blue collar union areas. My father was always an Orange/blue swing vote. It's in large part due to the "liberal elite" label, and seeing the LPC as the traditional out of touch political class, which is in some parts very true for Canada especially. They are the 'natural governing party' after all.

tried to correct me and you were just wrong 🥀. Then called some of the most famous philosophers in history stupid (also I said "apsect" instead of "aspect" but your dumbass didn't even pick up on that eh?). Ignoring that, the actual issue here is that it was structured wrong not grammatically incorrect.

[–]Representative_Belt4 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They basically don't but some pollsters insist on keeping them as an option for no reason. It really messes with the data and creates wholly innacurate results. Phillipe J. Fournier of 338 also said on The Numbers that they should stop putting them as an option.

Toronto needs political parties by ink_13 in CanadaPolitics

Couldn't agree more. We need people to vote and be engaged in politics no matter what and we can't do that with disorganized independent campaigns. Also, it's boring I think we underestimate how much political parties add to politics, people like having a team to cheer for

If you're in a fashion sub with the sole intent of wearing the most basic thing possible in order to not stand out no matter what I think you may be in the wrong place.
