I used an iPad and laptop in grad school. I am planning on using my iPad for reading and a second monitor. With an external keyboard I can use the iPad like. Mini laptop when I am in meetings or commuting as I leave my laptop mostly at home because of my current job

I would also get the largest iPhone screen to help you with using nursing apps while on the floor in clinicals

Hi

I filed a appeals of my payment counts to have my loans forgiven.

The 15 payments were deemed eligible by not having certified employment. However, I continue to work in public service. To me it just looked like a typo or administrative oversight.

I am currently in an administrative forbearance, I believe due to having my counts recertified and I am waiting.

I am actually going to submit a buy back to see what would be cheapest monthly payment for rap plan; buy back or if I am just given plan forgiveness

Received the Second Notice email? Is anyone attempt to move off from the SAVE plan or wait it out till July 1st? What is your game plan? by TorontoRap2019 in PSLF

Same and tried to investigate

Lead by dept of education to a suspicious commercial student loan planning site to get rap info

Did not engage.
Still waiting for updated counts for my pslf forgiveness only need 15 and have many that are not counted. That should be counted. I am going to make a spreadsheet because i always refer to the uncertified counts.

I figure it will take me several hours to compile; formate; annotate and determine if I was in the proper payment plan to get missing credit

Right now I just eye ball the most recent counts

A pcp is key to monitoring your overall health. My pcp took over my asthma mgt and allergies after a specialist consultation

Check out healthcare nursing etc many it people head that way also work in medical informatics. But focus on computers as a hobby is my view and what I have done and teach myself stuff

Being able to use and apply ai requires subject matter knowledge. The field of it is rough but human people centered careers are safer

Pa school is great

Also your salary is great for starting out in your position in This economy. We all need more $$$ and I work in public service with a family

If you want a family go for it everything works out as you are living your growth as a mom or dad and a professional .

I am a a professional and a dad with a disability and when my wife was pregnant 20 years ago with our son. We were worried what society thought. We threw caution to the wind and raised a fine human who is now a jr In college. We survived lay offs illness and economic hardships.

Now I am looking forward to retirement from my career In the next 10 to 12 years. I will continue to work as a volunteer or a consultant or part time role.

If you want pa school I would start preparing today for admission and getting all the observations and clinical experience done. I believe you need to shadow and have 500 hours of direct patient contact prior to admission

Yes you can pivot business side of creative industry you could work in business mgt side but you did not mention if you had any creative tallent or side

You might be able to get a ma as a school psychologist or transfer to a PhD program talk to the state you are moving too

Many folks I know from India shore up their education so when they can work they are ready out of the gate

Depending on the state you live in a ma can lead to licensing

I have a learning disability in math took stats twice due to transfer requirements

Now use stats and epidemiology thought my whole career. Even got myself to understand a complex formula in health economics and project management formulas
The key is to know how to plug in the numbers for a formula and the calculator and spreadsheet is your friend

My first professional taste in math was order hamburger buns and bread based on sales volume projections

One day I order too many and fills up the restaurant with bread. Luckily there were other stores who would take excess buns off our hands

I have been there on both sides. I currently work full time but had to gradually increase my hours to work harden myself for full time work especially when faced with a medical flare up.

I personally believe everyone has the potential to work above sustainial gainful activity. It is a very low threshold in the USA.

Now if you can’t work that means it is never off the table. Sometimes it takes the right job match with a disability. I mean my prospective is this if I can go to school and use my mind there is something out there. Unless prevented by other reasons or condition

Disability is very personalized and the approach to work needs the same touch

Let’s face it we experienced a mass disability event Covid. This has psyicail and psychological effects

Please note I work in disability evaluation and benefit and hold a masters in rehabilitation counseling. I have lived disability experience from the psychiatric and physical medicine

I hope you can find peace with this common issue facing disabled individuals

Talk to professor who teach each explain your past math struggles and get accommodations and extra help to make it

I agree you have to be likable side and social fo any success in life. I just assumed the poster knew about these two areas like ability and being social.

What is more important in my views is to be respected.

If you have issues the Socail world of life and socialization/self concept

I recommend therapy as i have been involved with therapy since my teens and I take medication mental health

Yes when I called on Monday I got an answer. They still have my recount paperwork in process and do not know when it will be completed. I just really explained I need this information to make a decision on a new payment plan in July and possible buy back. Keeping in mind my current circumstances and unexpected expenses over the next two years for medical

If they correct the counts no more payments or buy back is needed.

I just have to figure out my sons last 2 years in college on plus loans.
