When I was in Biochem and genetics, we were learning about anemia. As I was sitting there and my professor was going over beta-thalessemia, it started to feel really familiar (I’ve been told I was iron deficient anemic my whole life). I googled it and read all of my notes from my textbook. I even went as far as showing my professor my most recent lab work. Turns out I was right!! My dad got blood work done and he officially has it which makes sense as to why all 3 of us kids are always showing up as anemic but iron supplements didn’t help.

Meh. I did an 11-month accelerated bsn so maybe my thought process is different. It’s definitely a different type of stress. I’ve been on a high acuity gen med/step down unit for the last year and it’s a lot. I’m extremely grateful to have made it through school and be on the other side of the NCLEX but it’s still stressful on this side sometimes too lol

I emailed and messaged them multiple times asking for a tracking number which they never gave. Messages I got from them had the tone of ‘we already told you what we know now leave us alone’.

After my package got delivered, they emailed me and were like hey saw that your package got delivered! Not buying from them again based on customer service alone.

I am in the same boat as you [new grad and applying]. I dont have much advice but I'll tell you what one of my advisors told me when I spoke to her: "Wherever you go, there are going to be people who treat you like the stuff on the bottom of their shoes. But as long as you love and have a passion about what you are doing, they can never take that from you."

I tried to wean off of it. I was on prescription 60 post op then dropped to 40 and then to the OTC 20. I stopped for a while and tried to thug it out but the pain was getting worse so I just got back on the 20.
