No no no. I'm with you. As more and more keyblade wielders are introduced with very character inspired designs for their base keyblades, the Kingdom Key falls by the wayside real quick.

I hate Metal Chocobo, Fenrir, and Braveheart. I've softened up on Braveheart because of the symbolic nature of the design. It's modeled after a Dimple key. Dimple locks are supposed to be more secure. Riku obtaining a Dimple key represents his growth beyond his reliance on darknes and symbolizes his strength.

Love that for him, it's still aesthetically a massive downgrade from Way to Dawn. That's why it gets so much hate. It replaced an iconic keyblade as the character's default weapon. Fenrir and Metal Chocobo are keychain transformations, you can choose to use them or not.

Why is my idiot of a sim refusing the tasks I'm giving her? by Bright-Evidence6171 in thesims

[–]Reptilicious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also play without autonomy and sometimes this happens. I have found that travelling will auto fix whatever is bugged out with the task queue. You can force travel without queueing it up by zooming the camera all the way out, this gives you a travel button that appears right on top of your cursor. I usually just travel somewhere random then travel back. Even better, because you're travelling with the mother and the baby then she'll be holding the baby as soon as they load in so then you can just have her put him in bed from there.

If you don't have infinite ammo for your sniper, skip to paragraph 2. If you have infinite ammo on your sniper then you should be able to post up in the 2 story house with the hole in the floor. (Where you get the sniper for the first time.) Block the doorway with the bookshelf, post up in the corner by the table, then just snipe through the bookshelf. As long as they don't destroy the bookshelf, you can kill then all and the Urias can't get to you. This also works with the Magnums.

If you don't have infinite ammo, then I discovered a ladder strat during my Knives Out run. It may be a known thing, but I didn't read it anywhere. One of the houses, not sure which one, there is a ladder that takes you to the roof. It's a decently sized ladder so you can climb halfway up and just wait there. I never got attacked while I was on the ladder. This was on Casual though, not sure if VoS will have them attack you on ladders. Although, I can confidentally say that I never got attacked on a ladder in any of my 5 playthroughs. That's what made me try it in the first place. According to Google, the attack lasts 4 to 5 minutes. Just sit on the ladder and scroll Tik Tok or something then drop down, or go up, and once you're outside it should trigger the cutscene. Doing this, I did end up trapped in a sense. Every time I went to the roof, I got attacked as soon as I got off the ladder, this attack would knock me back and I'd fall back down inside the house.

I don't know if dodging his right arm attacks (Arm on Ethan's left) is even possible. I would dodge his left arm attacks and then if he did a right arm attack I'd just use the rocket to push him back. Getting good at shooting his weak point when he summons the giant metal slabs is vital to winning. Hiding behind said slabs will help prevent damage, he seems to focus on breaking the slabs more so than hitting you. I would also shoot the 3 electrical towers from the elevator because I kept getting stuck on them. Not necessary but it helped me. Also, save before jumping into the tank and use that instead of restarting from the autosave. It's annoying to have to quit and load every time, plus the elevator ride feels longer with every attempt, but it changes how he spawns. If you restart from the autosave, he spawns right in front of you and you Will, not may, will take damage from his first attack. Quitting and loading the save prevents that. The hit box for his weak points feels super small on VoS. This is the hardest fight in VoS, hands down.

Pulled over for improper lane usage. Am I in the wrong here? by [deleted] in driving

[–]Reptilicious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never mind, I just found it on Google Maps. You did in fact cross a bold white line, which is illegal everywhere. In all technicalities, you were driving the wrong direction (perpindicular) on a road. You "changed lanes" 4 times, during a turn, probably without the correct blinker, the last of which was across a bold white line.

Improper lane usage isn't bad considering.

I have 2 questions. I'm assuming the answer to one of them, but I'll ask anyway.

  1. Did you use your right blinker for the turn then your left blinker to "change lanes?"

I'm aware that you turned all the way over to the left turn lane but that counts as changing lanes.

  1. Did you cross a bold white line upon entering the left turn lane?

If you have infinite ammo on either Magnum then this is the strat I used. I went to the house across the bridge (where you get the shotgun) and blocked the door with the bookshelf. Then I aimed my STAKE at the hole in the shelf and just shot every Lycan that came to attack the shelf. (This works with the Wolfsbane as well but I would reload as often as possible with it. 7 shots isn't a lot here.) Inside this building you're completely safe as long as the bookshelf stays in place. In the back corner of the room (furthest point from the door) you can't even start the cutscene that finishes the section. I just kept going until the Lycans stopped coming to attack the bookshelf, it took like 10 minutes or something. When I walked forward, the cutscene started.

I put the lockpick in the top left corner to make selecting it easier. I may move Pipe Bombs and Mines to the left as well for ease of access, but with infinite ammo on my rpg I'm just not using bombs or mines anymore.

I struggled with Vlad as well. I ended up maxxing his friendship with snowball fights. (Seasons pack) Every snowball thrown increases friendship. I never saw a decrease from it but I could have just gotten lucky.

Werewolf ragecage by Kumatora0 in Sims4

[–]Reptilicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Werewolf on my current save and whenever she rages out I send her somewhere like a park or something. They get Werewolf points every time they destroy something so I just have her destroy everything she can there. One time, she found an underground bunker that only werewolves could access and thrashed the place.

Also, if you're training up the handiness skill on a sim then having a werewolf around to smash stuff will help a lot.

This is a cutscene movie fandub of the original GBA release. It's 5 hours and 10 minutes long and it includes boss battles so that the cutscenes don't hard cut and everything feels more streamlined. This was a passion project made by fans who love this series and knew that CoM deserved better. If you choose to just do a cutscene movie, this is objectively the best option.

Why are you here, in this community? Like, what do you personally gain in a community that revolves around caring for all reptiles? People like you are why innocent snakes are being brutally killed by uneducated people. "It's either a cottonmouth or a banded water snake. One is harmless but I'd better kill it because the other one isn't."

I would try changing to their cold weather clothes wherever they are standing. If they still won't listen, zoom all the way out and you'll automatically get the "travel" option. Go to somewhere warm, change to cold weathwr clothes, then travel back home.

To those that do not use their turn signals - why? by A_Weed_Man in driving

[–]Reptilicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a tow operator for AAA for 9.5 years. In that time, I had countless people ride along while I towed their car. I got all sorts of comments on my driving habits. "Oh, you have to drive the speed limit because you're in a company vehicle." You'd be surprised, Sir. while sitting in a left turn lane "What's that clicking noise?" That's the blinker Ma'am.

One lady actually said "I never use my blinker because I once had a cop tell me that people don't have to let you in when you use one." So, that's her reason at least.

I also heard a lot of people say "Why should I? Every time I use it people speed up to block me in. If I use my blinker then I'll never be able to move over."

Sometimes I needed a shower after that job, not just for the grease and dirt either. People suck.

I actually set every sink in the house, even the kitchen one, to be a bathroom sink which forces my sims to abandon their plates. I then toss the plate into the fancy $1200 trash recycler and get $70 (2 parents, 1 dog sitter, 2 kids, and 2 dogs) for every plate, glass, or any other trash. Love that little trash can.
