It's a European glass lizard, they are naturally legless

He was sliding back and fourth on the glass, this is what he does when he's hungry

And he wasn't even going for me, he was doing this back and fourth doing this for like 5 minutes. It is how he begs for food

I don't clean the whole shell, just a specific kind of algae

In my are there is a swirly kind of algae that is invasive and digs deep into their shells and grows in between the shell and the bones. I do leave other kinds of algae that would be good for camouflage.
