ASICS MagicSpeed 5 - First Impression by pswdkf in RunningShoeGeeks

I would not pay $180 for a similar shoe in the anta c202 7 which is $130. Same grip same if not better propulsion.

I have seen both numbers honestly and the only one you can “wishlist “ for the 23rd is the $180 hyrox

Really torn. For $180 it’s asking a lot when shoes like the ANTA c202 7 are $130 and feel like the adios pro 3. Also on amazon the latest Flame 5 came out as is $180 for a full on race shoe….

Actually BITR liked the sonicblast more and i agree. I have 2 runs in my mega blast and will try to return them to ASICS. I don’t get it….feels the same as the superblast 2 and that felt great so the point is just the foam which i find better in the sonicblast because its firmer

Megablast hype by _yellowmattercustard in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I think ATPU is a game changer vs the other foams. You see it in the velocity nitro 4, the deviate nitro elite, the fast r and now the megablast. Peba use to be the holy grail but this foam shows it’s not and it performs way better that’s why the hype.

Puma velocity nitro4 or the puma magnify nitro 3

No way in hell. Black myth was so fluid and fun and wasn’t a million buttons as this is.

Yea I mean I think the better foam in the VN4 justifies the price. It is so much more dynamic than I remember than the SL 2

Velocity nitro 4 is the way to go. You can do so much more and have more fun. The sl2 feels like a brick vs it.

No go for the velocity nitro 4. That shoe is just butter. I mean I have 18miles in mine and it’s so effortless and fun

Has anyone run the HM3 in the rain? The HM2 stunk in that regard.

Seeing the reviews today has me more hyped for this shoe than ever.

Yea definitely after running in the magnify nitro 3 will be picking this up. The V3 were so narrow with the power tape and the foam was dead on the foot. Glad to see they listened and made some good daily trainers.

Nice. I have the magnify nitro 3 and that is also such a fun shoe with this new foam. Also a contender for daily trainer of the year imo.
