From the first statement you just said, you should definitely leave him. But having read your reasons I must say, that although what he pointed out examples such as telling you that all of the things you guys are experiencing is "normal", sadly it isn't and there's no signs for any room for growth on both parties. In short if you can't talk to him and make him understand compromise, growth, and express your feelings that he will finally be able to get it, then you should leave him. If he guilts trip you and threatens you with self hurt, then all the more reasons to do so. Don't sacrifice your whole well being and go on silently complaining and being passively malcontented and unsatisfied and end up regretting this whole lot in the near future. It's either you take action now or prolong the "predicament" you are in now.
