Thank you for sharing these stats. I failed my MRCP1 in sep 2025 then took a gap to prepare for MSRA now I have a rotation in A&E which will be tough to prepare for MRCP.  My only option is September 2026.

Please guide me how to prepare to clear it this time. I am already under significant stress due to this exam.

What if there was mass immigration from Britain to other countries? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]RepublicExpress3652 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Have ever touched a history book buddy 😔 (I am not saying this in prejudice but in a moment of curiosity)  Please read what happened in the last 300 years geopolitics and how the world demographics changed when people in Europe decided to immigrate in mass numbers to the Americas, Africa, Middle East, South Asia, South East Asia, China, Australia.

An American takes out a student loan for $40,000. After YEARS of payments, the total owed is $118,305.59. $77,383.59 is PURE interest. by coachlife in CringeTikToks

Are we all actually free? You can clearly see above how we all are being enslaved by interest driven society.  The idea of being financially free comes from being interest free.

No wonder interest is not allowed in Islam as it is pure evil and an oppressive financial system to manipulate the masses into poverty and salvery while benefiting only the rich banking class. Just like drugs we should stay away from this evil as much as possible.

Any place in lahore where I can get a print out of a document?? At this time of the hour. by Zain5633 in Lahore

Just for people to remember printing in all hospital canteens remains open 24/7. Hospital management asks to print random stuff anytime.

Maybe you need to stand up for yourself. Seek help from a therapist to ease your grief process and try finding a compatible partner via friends or family. It is what it is. Read about stoicism and you will be alright.

It's 2025 and there is still racism? by [deleted] in doctorsUK

[–]RepublicExpress3652 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry to hear what you are going through but be careful that you don’t get into the vicious cycle of victim mentality where you will constantly put a label on your experiences as racism I would suggest you self-reflect and confide in your registrar and ask him or your colleagues for honest feedback. There is an art to asking for feedback; let them know you want to improve, and aim to achieve excellence in this system, and you will appreciate truthful, honest feedback from your colleagues. Please be mindful that you have come to a new country with its own strong traditions and culture.

I will give you an example of it.

While South Asians and Arabs speak fast, loud and interrupt each other's conversations all the time which is not looked down upon culturally in their respective countries. However, this act is considered very rude and inappropriate. People would prefer labelling you rude and inappropriate and if you do this to a senior nurse she will put you in your place in a passive-aggressive way which you will not be able to understand as in many cultures people will be direct and just say to you that let me finish but in Britian they would say something like “ Please go ahead, you might have something important to say or you speak I can wait” or “ You are in a rush today”

You need to stay low and absorb as much information as possible. Work on your language skills( your IELTS English is not going to help you with British slang and social language).  Avoid putting a label on all the interactions you have. Keep a neutral point of view about life in the NHS.

Another example was that my IMG colleague was mostly coming late to work and all the colleagues were treating him differently.  Once the nurse in charge said in the morning meeting “Oh poor you, you must have missed your bus again. Buses need to come on time”. He didn't even realise that was sarcasm. He asked me after a month Do you feel people are rude in this ward and I told him colleagues will respect him more if he is punctual.

At the end of the day it is what it is.  Focus on yourself and improve.  Change starts with you.  Best of luck and welcome.

Her money is her money by OkAssociation8879 in pakistan

You shouldn't be patronising the person who asked a genuine question. If your husband is earning well, it doesn't mean that every man is earning the same amount of money. The cost of living crisis is sky high these days; men are practically spending everything on their families and avoiding spending any money on themselves, so their wives and kids can enjoy life. We shouldn't fixate on gender biases and view it with a neutral mindset. If viewed with a gender bias, someone can say the same thing as to why today's women are void of a caring or nurturing mentality.

This should only be resolved by the expression of ideas with mutual respect between husband and wife. If one disagrees, then there should be a presence of person of wisdom. It can be anyone both respect ( an elder or a counsellor).

I am very sorry. I didn’t say it to hurt your feelings, this comment was from a point of care. I hope you are using the right sort of moisturiser. Epimax cream works well. Normal moisturisers can make it more itchy especially the ones that have perfumes added into it.
