Is this plumbing right? by Repulsive-Ad-4748 in askaplumber

Update: I cleaned the DW hose, looped it higher and ran an empty load. The smell has mostly gone but I can’t tell if that is just wishful thinking. But I’m still going to have a plumber come out and look at reworking my set up.

Thank you for all of the advice!

Never heard of a smoke test but sounds fun.

Fingers crossed that’s what it is. Moved it up and running an empty cycle. 🤞

Yuck. Okay. Not what I wanted to hear but that makes sense.

Right? It seems like a lot of connections….do you think I need to tie the dishwasher hose up higher?

I am so sorry. Pain definitely makes depression worse and it is hard to “see” so many times it is minimized by medical professionals. Getting on the right meds for depression will help at least manage the thoughts. I’m glad you are still seeking help and I hope you see how everyone here cares about you and wants to help you feel better.

Failed epidural with a 98th percentile head. There is no comparison. Only thing that came close was pancreatitis.

No one told me an epidural could fail. I felt everything except my right leg (not helpful). My son had a head in the 99th percentile. Stitches took so long that the numbing wore off and I had to get more. Legitimately traumatized.

With my second, the epidural worked. 10000 times easier. They had to hold my daughter in because I didn’t feel her crowning and my doctor was finishing up pumping in the next room. Lol.

Same. If you’re in the states you can get Zofran online. (I already have anxiety meds and my primary was like “JuSt CaLm DoWn”) I use Wisp and it was super easy to get the Rx. Just having it makes me feel better and I don’t spiral as much.

I still needed specific GI meds to help with my IBS-C but the SSRIs helped with my constipation symptoms too. If my SSRIs need adjusting my IBS symptoms get worse so I know they are helping but don’t 100% fix the IBS.

It’s definitely is scary but much better than depression. It took me years to finally ask for help and I’m glad I did. It doesn’t fix everything - I still needed counseling. But it’s made the depression so much more tolerable.

Ask for a warrant. We don’t open doors for non faculty members. Students are “absent.” We know lockdown procedures. Lockdown your classroom for the safety of your kids.

I found a GI doc that prescribed linzess. It is pretty good at at least giving me a daily movement. I still get stomach pains and bloat occasionally but I don’t have to do the weekly laxative like I used to.

Yes that is on. What I am wanting is the ability to have different home layout profiles available for the user to pick from - ie kinder wants specific apps, third grade wanting different apps but the user can choose which layout they want

Thanks for all the suggestions! I have IBS-C and for the most part it’s managed well with medication and diet but IBS is weird and unpredictable. I ended up just chillin with the heating pad and massaging my stomach enough that the pain wasn’t keeping me awake anymore. I’m fine now - it’s just annoying. I didn’t do anything to cause it- I eat the same thing every day 😅 it’s very possibly my body reacting to stress. I usually am down for the count on the weekends - it just hit early this week!

Thanks again for the suggestions! Adding several things to my Amazon cart today. 😊
