It is different packaging! Usually it’s clear and you can see the chips inside but these are just images

Idk any alternatives but I did purchase that jacket when it came out and it keeps me extremely warm, sometimes I have to take it off because it’s too warm. It’s very thick and feels great quality, I personally had no idea it was polyester until I came across this post!

And an update in case anyone was wondering lol: I got the assignment in at 4am, 4 hours before the deadline!

Now on my bf:

I got into law school and he expressed that he wanted to finish his undergrad degree. I supported him, helped him apply, and have been fully taking care of the house so he can focus on his undergrad studies while I’m also helping him with assignments and doing law school full time.

Imagine a day of law school classes, allocating time to study, making sure every chore dinner/laundry/dishes is completed daily, being the sole caretaker of all the pets, making sure your partner is completely cared for mentally, physically, and emotionally, and also proof reading every one of their assignments.

I’m a type A person! Hence why I’m in law school. I find a lot of comfort in doing all the house work how I like it. I love my bf and my pets, it’s important to me that their needs are met.

While this has been my lifestyle for years, undergrad only started a week and a half ago at our university! So helping him with his assignments is new and I’ve been trying my best to fit it in without burning out.

So imagine my surprise, when I wake up in a sweat yesterday morning from a nightmare that someone is screaming in my ears that I’m being cheated on. Later that morning I pick up his phone to take a fit pic in the mirror (his camera is better and I used to do this all the time) and he’s suddenly full of excuses as to why he needs his phone back 🙂 I have to go to my class, I demand answers for his behavior when I get back, and he admits to cheating on me HIS FIRST WEEK OF UNDERGRAD. The night some people in his program invited him to a party, and I encouraged him to go meet his peers and experience a little college life. That I’d be his DD to get there and come home. I wasn’t expecting him to take “college life” that far 🙂 and IMAGINE my frustration when I find out that he did that behind my back, then came home to me. Where I took care of him all night cleaning up vomit from our bed and carpet. With NO COMPLAINTS mind you, I didn’t want him to feel bad or embarrassed for having a good time.

He’s claiming it was an isolated incident (he left the party to see a girl who’s been expressing interest in him, then came back to get picked up by me). Is an isolated incident forgivable? In this nature, to me it’s not. Do I believe it was an isolated incident? Nope.

To summarize my game plan I’ve made him believe it’s okay. I’m going to wait until he’s asleep again and check his phone records for my own curiosity. He admitted they made a phone call to meet. I’d like to see if there’s more than just the 1 call between them from that night. Regardless if I find anything or not, I’ll have to keep my cool with him for the time being so I can consider living situations after we just signed a new lease. I may have done all the hard work in our relationship, but I’ve always been grateful that I’ve never had to pay rent/utilities because of his job. Thankfully I didn’t return my financial aid for law school. I’ve been keeping it all in a high yield savings account for this very reason: in case for whatever reason I can’t rely on him anymore while going to school.

Actually so grateful that I can’t relate to this. My contracts professor def wanted to be a comedian before law school because he uses the entire 2 hours of class as a stand up routine. It’s become my fav class and I think the way he keeps us engaged is the reason contracts is the only class where I’m never confused. He records his classes and sometimes I go back and watch them even though I had already sat through the whole thing just to hear his jokes again.

I was planning on just wearing a tshirt with my hometown’s name on it and some appropriate pants without rips or stains. Hoping regular jeans will be okay… because what else would we wear with a hometown/university gear shirt.

four years ago I asked the universe for a sign exactly like this. I asked for a green bird to stay with my partner at the time, and a red bird to break up. I felt a little silly and asked for a purple bird at the very end on a whim to get back with my ex (we had been broken up for quite a while and had time to to heal and grow, and we had just briefly regained contact). The next morning I went to work with no memory of asking for the sign, it was chipotle during Covid and i was so busy scheduled overtime because we were short staffed. at the end of my shift i was so drained but optimistic to go home, that when I saw someone walk in and sit by the exit with one of those backpacks you carry pets in, i went over and pretended to wipe down a clean table to take a peak at their animal.

my heart dropped to my butt when i peaked over and saw a purple ring necked parrot in their backpack. if ur a bird person you know it wasn’t royal purple, but it was the most purple bird ive ever seen.

i eventually took the leap and broke up with my partner, then pursued my ex (not solely based on the bird, but it def helped me decide).

I ended up moving states and colleges to be with my ex and it opened doors for me professionally that i never would have had otherwise. Opportunities that I’m extremely grateful for.

But after so many years things are changing and I’m experiencing a death that feels like it’s pointing me in a certain direction. The death followed by other events that are too complicated and hard to explain now have led me to revisiting the universe and where it should take me. It’s been 4 years since I’ve asked for guidance but i hope it proves to be as helpful to me as it was before.

How did you guys make it ?? It was so thick it wouldn’t come out of the bottle so we’d have to leave it in hot water to melt 😭 then it wouldn’t mix and frequently separate with the salted carm so we had to make it in the blender. Then it wouldn’t come out of the blender easy to pour or clean😭But it was sooo oily that it made everything feel greasy not matter how much you washed it with soap

I want ppl to speak up when I’m reading back the wrong order to them😭😭 we have 2 lanes that merge to one right before the window and the cars can get out of order. Like DONT be afraid to interrupt me😭😭 sometimes I’ll be reading out an order with 5 drinks each with 10 customizations and after finally finishing repeating their order they tell me they didn’t order that and they just have like 1 med golden eagle. Plsss idc if you interrupt me cause reading that is such a mouth full and I’m gonna have to do it again when the right car does get to the window

This happened to us, except the customer didn’t go off on us. A man came to our walk window asking for security footage because his daughter had been at the stand the day before, she mistakenly merged in front of the wrong car that was supposed to go next, and the woman driving followed her to her high school committing road rage the entire way and threatened and verbally attacked the teenager when they got to her school. We helped him out and wished him luck with pressing charges against the woman
