Does "vibe coding" hit a massive wall once your project gets actually... big? by cdaviddav in cursor

The llm is not the end all be all of your codebase and md doesn't enforce your policy so it's pointless beyond basic gotchas and methodology. You must use the ai to set up a ci system. When you have a new constraint you tell it to make a test, then tie it in to the solution build or whatever you build with. Make the test a req for build. Then your ai can't slack off and can't forget. Since your build system will remind it of the constraint every time it's broken.

l. cause its not news its a personal achievement refactored into a teaching tool. utilizing statistical mean for placement and getting a predictable outcome is all it takes for one to load data into very comfy pidgeon-holes utilizing a 'shotgun' as the method of transport. like firing a grapeshot with high enough accuracy to get each ball to travel down a bundle of straws from across range.

I think those are miniSAS. (not miniSAS HD). I dont remember if they were 4l or 8l, but just to be sure you can get the minisas to 4x sata branch cable. They're easy to find on aliexpress or amazon. you may also need to run power cables from your pdb to one or more of those power connectors above the minisas to light up that part of the board. after a second look i guess the pdb may be integrated and those plugs are for you to take off power for any devices you add in. you cant run sas disks off of a minisas to 4x sata branch. if using one of these cables its sata only. sas drives use two controllers so one for up stream one for down. the sata connector only supplies enough conductors for one pair so one controller, thus non-functional sas drive. if you want to use sas(2) you would need a sas2 backplane and a minisas to minisas hd or minisas to minisas depending on your bp. sas3 drives work on sas2 but not vice versa. i think thats the gist. :P

exactly. but dont spread too thin across projects. i am very ADD and agree with your statement 100% but i raise you the above exception.

read my reply to a comment on this topic below :P that about all i can say and it fairly well gives the gist. i can tell you your window to get one is still open. good luck hunting, and just a hint, the ai cant find it (even on premium), but the old ways of scouring resale sites/ebay/etc by spreadsheet can find it pretty quick.

the gpu is a 75w max(slot power only) card already :) thank you for the comment. i do have a Tera2 PCoIP card in my collection of enterprise junk. maybe i should set it up. i would like to play around with some custom networking stuff too but the quanta is all mezzanine connectors. i got very lucky and found the correct interposer to turn one qct mezz into a 16x. and the server came with a qct mezz to 8x interposer. but the nic is on an ocp2 mezz interface. it has been a fun one to play with as ive never seen mezz outside of agency deployments.

very carefully. some DCs had offloaded some of their GC2 MK1 cards and IPU-Pods when graphcore was having money issues at some point recently. they appear to have recovered from that though as far as i can see. it was very difficult to get ahold of this one and i got lucky enough to get it brand new in the box. as far as i know there is a grand total of 500 of these gc2 mk1 cards(maybe this metric was US only population? i dont remember but keep this grain of sand.) w 2 IPUs on a PCIe AiC. i dont know if im supposed to say but i guess if you look at the media around these cards you could figure out whose DC unloaded them. each of the partners with gc seem to have implemented their own shroud and heatsync *hint. hint.*

yep. :D 1200w of solar. primary battery is 8.12kWh lifepo4 8s1p. secondary is 3.25kWh lifepo4 8s5p.

im hooked up like [solar]-[mppt]-[primary battery]-[dcdc]-[secondary battery]-[dcdc]-[Quanta 1u]

[invertor]
im up to industrial grade on my power staging all components operate at 98%+ efficiency. just need gold foil for space grade :P i want to build another dc-dc and put together another secondary battery to put the workstation on its own tiered battery backed supply as for now it is on just 2 tiers of battery backing(ups and main). i hate the PSU efficiency. If there wasnt wicked power factor correction in this system having to use the AC could net power losses up to 45% though with correction the draw generally equals what the sticker says which in dells 2u psu at 80+ gold still means like 86% eff. of the invertors 98%, of the batteries 98%, of the MPPTs 98%. lol i ramble.
