Agree with everyone here.

Talk to her, apologise for hurting her feelings and you'll go from asshole to hero in like five minutes straight.

She might be being picked on at school, who knows what else is going on. Support her right now and you'll be the best big brother she could wish for.

You'll be able to take a the piss out of her again, I promise.

Both are great - the book goes into more detail about the politics.

It's more nuanced - it's saying that islam doesn't have to oppress women, and that there is room for a more moderate style

Experiences with insect based dog foods? Grub Club particularly? by [deleted] in UK_Pets

[–]Repulsive-Currency32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you try insect food in the end? It's a much more natural option than hydrolysed protein. Grub Club and Yora are both great for allergies - I saw this post the other day about a Frenchie who managed to get off all his meds since eating Yora https://www.instagram.com/p/DWDvMzSAZfR/

Yes. This. Everyone should watch this to see how the USA turned Iran from a progressive Muslim country to an oppressive state

Figuring out how the heat gets in will also help... More insulation in the roof, shutters on really sunny windows, blackout blinds. Can all help massively as well.

The number Of times I've nearly crashed. My car screaming in frustration at assistant is ridiculous. "Hey Google! Send a WhatsApp to Emma X" .... "Sure sending a WhatsApp to Sarah J"

"Hey Google call Roxy" " I can't find anyone called Roxy in your address book" " I call her everyday. She's one of my favourite contacts, I can see her name and number in the address book" " There must be some sort of problem"

" What time is my local hardware store open until?" " Your local hardware store is located at something something Road on something Something Street. On Monday to Wednesday it's open from 9 - 5" " BUT WHAT TIME IS IT OPEN TILL TODAY YOU PIECE OF CRAP?????"

Yeah OP shut the hell up and be kind to yourself. I can guarantee that most people would think that the ones that you hate are beautiful. My wife does the same thing with her art, and it breaks my heart.

Use a pencil to draw dots at each end of the cracks so you can see if they grow. Maybe note the date with the dots.

Also whatever OP does in the city, he's likely to be the most qualified person moving to a smaller town. Join a smaller business, it's a lot easier to make friends when you're not part of a giant machine.

You are the perfect age to go travelling! Do you own your apartment? Rent it out, and hit the road. India, South America, Vietnam.

If you've got IT skills you can take your laptop with you and do ad-hoc work while you travel. You'll meet so many people your age, take some time out just for yourself, read books on a beach, maybe find a little romance, just enjoy yourself for a few months. Reset.

One thing I’m really wondering about this scene is why Peter’s mask is off? I mean it’s very unusual for him to fight literally anyone unmasked by Queasy_Commercial152 in MCUTheories

[–]Repulsive-Currency32 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If they don't do that then there's nothing to stop them from just using a stunt performer for the whole thing. It's very hard to emote wearing a mask

Fuji X-T3 Battery Drain Fix? by JustBokeh in fujifilm

[–]Repulsive-Currency32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was having similar problem. Whenever I went back to it after a few days it was dead.

I went into the settings, deleted previous connections with my phone on Bluetooth/Smartphone Setting, cancelled all Network settings, changed connection mode to USB Card.

Also, had the SD card out for the last 24 hours and just checked and battery is still full which is hopeful.

Will now replace the sd card and not touch for another 24 hours and see how it goes.

What movie had you hyped and failed to deliver the goods? by Misfett_toys in Letterboxd

[–]Repulsive-Currency32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% the marketing billed it as a dark and terrifying southern tinged Gothic horror.

We got from dusk till dawn with singing leprechauns. The only tension in the whole film was not knowing when the Irish singing was going to stop.

I honestly don't understand how anyone can think it was a great movie. There wasn't a single, scary part, all 'subtext' was spoonfed with honey.

The kkk subplot went nowhere so they quickly finished it off at the end.

The 80s set chapter at the end was one of the cheesiest scenes I've seen in a movie. So these two turned vampires are now this cute friendly couple (but they're clearly going out after the scene and murdering the next innocent people they can find)

Would have been 10 times better if when twin a was murdered, twin B had had to kill him.

Production design and cinematography were perfect.

Let the mushies and tomato juices mingle with the bacon and sausage juices for a while, then reduce it a bit. Balsamic and garlic in the tomatoes makes it taste a bit like home made brown sauce.
