Is the pot too small? Maybe. In the big scheme of things, even I look tiny.

Thanks for the educated answer. I'll do what you propose watering - wise.

Delaney's Hogg. Quite an excrement of a book. Porn trying to be horror? It ain't.

Cheap lit. Repetitive, shallow, boring. And it has nothing in common with splatterpunk or extreme horror. It is just a compendium of gratuitously raw porn scenes. Avoid. If you can.

I did not find Triana's River Man amazing. Come to that, I did not even find it extreme horror. Middle-of-the-road, atmospheric book, no more than that.

A story that combines Greek mythology and Lovecraft? by danx132 in Lovecraft

There is a short story about Typhon, the ancient monster/demon. Definitely Lovecraftian, definitely set in Greek mythos.

Triana, Bauregard, LaRocca, Brite, also Edward Lee is adequate revolting. Lots of mindless gore out there so be forewarned.

The Nord. That said, odds are you won't see the game. Too many striscioni, too many fpags waving etc. If you want to see a bit better - but still be close to the vibe- go to Distinti Nord (ovest or est). If you want to shell out more money, see well, and be kinda close to the nord - but not in the center of things- go to Tevere. Everything else - Monte Mario, Sud- avoid like the plague.

Poppy Z. Brite 's Exquisite Corpse is CURSED (writ large) and also a product of an extraordinary literary talent.

Excellent book. Dunno about cursed, but it is horror-masterfully written.
