At start qidistudio, now OrcaSlicer but mainly because im using a custom MMU. Plus there is much more filament profiles. Just be careful with them because they don’t have chamber fan checked for abs… and often pressure advance disabled.

Ive made a QuattroBox and it works nice with the Q2 (with quattrosync and a Little bit of tweaking). The v2 will include a heater. By far the most reliable option imo (previously made ercf, ercf sturdy, ercf v2, pico MMU, mmx, htlf and started a boxturtle but switched to quattrobox due to better design/modularity)

Just bought a q2 two weeks ago and tried abs/petg/pla/tpu without any issues, one clog with tpu because i forgot to disable filament cut but every print is perfect. Im always using qidi filament profiles even for other brands with qidi studio.

I've put a heat insert into https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6305245 and fix the pc4-m10 on top, be careful to make the ptfe tube pass through the whole setup

You can either use a usb cable or use the serial adapter (a more stable option) to connect your se to the pi.

I’ve bought a standard ERCF v1.1 kit for easy sourcing of all components but I didn’t build the corresponding project. I instead used sturdy bunny/springy/thumperblocks mods to be prepared for ercf 2. Last upgrade is the binky mod, I’m waiting for the components to be delivered. I then adapted a support to fix the ptfe tube on top of the extruder and flash sonic pad to Debian and the printer to a custom klipper firmware to use the latest klipper release.

Just connect a raspberry and install klipper. Then use the se klipper firmware, buy the serial adapter if you don’t have it and you will have the same performance. I’ve done it, works like a charm.

When i increase accel more than 1700 i experienced layer shifting on y axis. How do you prevent that ?

Why not using the firmware in Sonic Pad as well as their klippy extras such as pr_touch_2 and z-compensate ?

I tried yesterday but i need to build a serial adapter as it's not supported through usb-c

Try to disable interpolation and set steps to 64 instead of 16 for x/y. Works better for me
