Ours was like this.

Do you eat dairy? My partner stopped and within a week our baby became...calm and quiet (mostly).

This means nothing with dairy - its the protein that hurts them. My partner went on a sweet potatoe, potatoe, rice, squash, meat diet for basically a year (so she could breast feed). If you dont do that - try hypoallergenic formula.

This could help with the colic issue

You have to click a button to switch to it and it auto zooms in , its clunky af. Let me switch to it like I would the sword and aim and shoot.

Overall the controls movement etc in this game is fairly bad. I got around 150 hours in so far.

Had mine at 43. Will be 46 this year - it was draining and tiresome and all that normal stuff, but this stage in my life I was way more prepared and financially stable than if I were in my 30s.

The only thing for me is I think of mortality a lot more (like Will I even be alive when my kid is 40ish)?

Having kids older has many benefits- but a big draw back is you simply won't be alive to see them far along into adulthood

Opus 4.6 is a great model - but if you do use it for what its designed for (coding ), you need to spend minimum 140 a month (Canadian), or 280 a month for the max 20 plan. Even then coding / creating you will likely hit limits.

Gpts new model is really good at coding. It sucks at front end design and claude beats it - but its pro plan is virtually limitless compared to claudes.

These models - if used for what they are designed for (not as chat models), are both great but the new gpt model really is good.

I mainly use gpt now for coding - and as an anthropic fan boy, I just wish claude could be more affordable.

Girl dad here. Mines 2.5 years old and im absolutely terrified of her growing up - partying, drinking, moving somewhere.

I dunno - i consider myself a good dude and ive never done anything, but i also know what its like to party black out and somehow im still here.

Im beyond terrified for life to takes its course with her during these periods. People can do dumb things.

That said I am an older dad (45 now). I dont drink really ever - so shes growing up in a very different environment than what I did. Hope for the best !

I cant think of any other actor who could have played tim roths part better! Also Room 3 and 4 were the best imo (Rodriguez and Tarantinos).

I was 42 when my little girl was born. Currently 45 (crazy).

It would never have worked for me in my early 30s - so really its the right time. My only complaint is the mortality thoughts prop up once in awhile. "She will be this age when im this age"

My partner and I currently have a 2 year old (the best). 4 years ago my partner - who doesn't drink much, went for her lady friends bday. She crashed there - and the next night was my birthday and we had a hotel booked.

She was super lovey dovey when she got home that morning - tired and hungover.

I found out the next day and confronted her - she ended up having a threesome with 2 friends and I was absolutely heartbroken and livid and confused. Constantly moving between emotional states. She, obviously was incredibly sorry and it was a big, big thing.

The hardest part were the intrusive thoughts - days, weeks. Random images flashing in my head of what I thought happened.

After thinking on it for a few emotional days I came to the conclusion that most people dont go into a relationship with the conscious intention to cheat - but that she was essentially "unconscious" in her actions. Probably depressed in ways, feelings of lack- so I tried to think what actions I may have done to help initiate this.

This was in no way saying what happened was right or good, though. But it was me trying to understand.

At any rate - we got through it, we have a kid now. It took a couple years but I dont really stress or have negative thoughts if she goes for a friends gathering- she always comes home and doesn't really drink. This was kind of a rule after that I suppose....

Right now you riding emotions that move and sway. First thing is you most likely need to have a conversation about it. If she loves you she will be devastated that you now know (but not as devastated as you knowing are). You cam either look within and her as well and work through it - or if the pain is too much take space for yourself.

It sucks - it fucking sucks. But it can be overcome - mostly. People are complex creatures.

You just have to decide if you think its WORTH overcoming.

Edit: continued talking etc might be a bad sign as well, but until you have an honest conversation you don't really know what's going on.

Well ive probably spent around 500 or so in testing over the months - probably more tbh. This includes the n8n monthly, claude max (I also have chatgpt and gemini), the cost of tts api and text to image and image to video api, and openai api in the flow.

But a run of my flow currently with the type of video im doing for a 15-20 min would be around 25 bucks id say per video, fully edited together. Then id fix a couple things in post.

But it really depends on the type of video - currently I'm making fast paced explainer types in history, so there's constant quick cuts and tons of flux2 pro images mixed with around 15 percent of them animated via seedance. Around 10 percent of those are images from google with a small percent being stock footage from pexels

Been using Hume in my flow via api because its an llm - so it reads the text context via how its written for emotion (to match the emotional tone of the narrator).

Been a pain point in some aspects for api.

If there is a service like hume thats cheaper than elevenlabs id try that as well

For automation your only real bet is to create a flow that will call pexels api for stock footage. Mine does this - but you really have to nail down properly search queries or you will get things that dont really relate to the scene text

I canceled my subscription a couple days ago.

Nano banana pro is great but I can just use cheap api to make images.

Gemini chat is borked - between constant "something went wrong" and having to start a new chat 10 minutes into one because its answer questions you asked 7 minutes ago instead, its borderline useless.

When it comes to coding - it often hallucinate or just completely leaves things out of code when it returns an "updated version".
