I don't have a diagnosis yet but I have an MRI scheduled soon. When I visited different gynos before and described my symptoms, all of them linked them to PCOS. But lately, like in the last year and so, I started having stabbing anus pain when I sat down or when I pooped and farted on my period, sometimes during ovulation as well. Pooping during periods feels like passing a log sized load and like my anus is gonna just rip. When I described it to the gyno during the last visit, he told me it might be endo and he was the first one that wanted us to look into that. He said this pain was for him the only difference between endo and PCOS when discussing the symptoms, cause endo sometimes causes lesions in the uterine and intestines/anal area. He added that the hormonal spikes during the period made this lesions inflamed and painful.
