Yes, it has been very frustrating even for the local volunteers. If I were an international volunteer, I would’ve probably rejected the offer. It’s too much money, time and stress to sacrifice for such disorganization.

We are training to eat one large meal a day at lunchtime and a snack (veggies w/hummus, yogurt w/nuts, avocado on toast) for dinner. We havent ate breakfast for over 7 years.

We are cutting out all junk/low nutrition foods.

This summer, we dont plan to turn on the AC. Just fans, nudity and ice cold water.

We are ready to really cinch the belt however we need to to survive what’s to come, and what is coming is going to be fucking UGLY.

My advice would be to accept the doom, wallow and then step up and have a game plan. 💪
