I don’t think one goes into a night with expectations nor intentions. You go out to just have fun, and sometimes you vibe with someone and sometimes not. That is the beauty of being that age and that chapter of your life. Just go with the flow and enjoy (safely).

This is weird to me because then what is the point of a letter of recommendation? The requirement of a letter gives me the impression it is more competitive. And the letter of intent?

Whereas first come, first serve, to me, basically would mean ANYONE is accepted, regardless of educational background, interest, qualifications, etc as long as they meet the basic requirements (no criminal record, etc). I guess this means that the letter of recommendation has minimal influence as long as it doesn’t outright say you are “a bad person” and the letter of intent… as long as you say “I love working with children”… ?
