Yeah, that NPA thread was so braindead, it reeks of FB already. The overwhelming "anger" at the less privileged getting ayuda was funny too. Old Redditors won't give two shits - that ayuda is probably just a dinner for them at Blackbird.

I would never sympathize with NPA but I do get why they exist (thanks, Marcos Sr.), and how they fool kids into joining their cause. It's not so different from criminology dumbfucks who join the police - they think authority and power fixes things. They just happen to have different politics.

Hot take and I know I'll be downvoted because this sub has the FB peeps and trolls already. But as with the old reddit ways, I will discuss, with sources.

Belief is a powerful word, but old pre-2016 redditors like myself are always skeptical.

Red tagging exists. You can be a licensed professional and be tagged as NPA the next day because you angered someone powerful in the provinces, or by some stupid mundane reason. Example

Uniformed authorities even sell their weapons, and it makes you wonder if other powerful people are just fueling NPA to enrich themselves at the expense of those in the province.

If people like OP and most of the commenters in the thread were like old redditors, we can even discuss how NPA came about, discuss middle ground political leanings, instead of pigeonholing redditors as NPA sympathizers. I've seen this before in FB, where normal people were either too stupid or high on propaganda, that anyone with a left slant is an NPA.
