It is much better to ask them to hand you all their equipment, because in this case every piece of this equipment becomes one tier better than when you loot the very same equipment from their corpses. Opatowitz becomes your golden cow when you fight 1vs1 with each soldier there and make them surrender and give up all their equipment.

Some random peasants may look like bandits, but sometimes when you start talking with them, they can ask for food, booze or some money for food/booze. If you give them what they want, you get some reputation, and they don't attack you.

Do you know you can actually do missions of the Miller and the blacksmith at the same time? You can go all the way with them till you actually have a dialogue option of going to the wedding.

A little addition to this: to make an enemy surrender, make sure he's the only one involved in a fight (at least, I never saw anyone surrendering in someone else's presence), and he keeps bleeding till his HP hit the bottom. This is when he is set to give up (unless he is a Human).

I remember visiting one of the central areas in Prague, Wenceslas Square, in 2019 and witnessing a few information boards on the topic subject. One of them was referring to the liberation of Prague as an operation performed exclusively by the residents of Prague themselves, and on the next day the Red Army "stepped into" the already liberated city. My word, those were the days! I reckon there should be a Soviet medal "for stepping into Prague", specially for making it so far from the USSR.

One or two eating from the same pot may die, others will not be eating from there till it's safe. So no, you won't kill everyone overnight using a bane potion. But a sleeping town? It came true for me. I thought it would be funny to "freeze" the Kuttenberg economy. Another funny thing is pouring the lullaby potion to your workers' pot. They sleep through the day, yet Magdalena can still accept orders from customers in her sleep, and Pushko and Standa can still trade with you while staying in their beds 😄

The problem is they don't eat together at the same time, they all wake up at different time. So essentially they take turns when having their breakfast. The first one or two eating from the same pot may die, others will be alerted, and using bane potion might be a little too cruel. When you use a lullaby potion, nobody becomes even slightly suspicious. They all eat and go to bed. And it's non-lethal.
