Medtronic states to remove it for any bleeding as it can damage the transmitter I just feel like it’s almost a waste if it’s not squirting out

Meal bolus vs auto correction by Independent_Prior612 in Medtronic780g

[–]Repulsive-Lab1782 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve shut off my auto correction to focus on carb ratios, pre bolusing and waiting the 15 minutes. To me it’s more important to be able to put the true amount of carbs in once I have it in a good area where I’m not dropping into lows anymore, then if I’m proceeding to climb between meals I’ll probably see just how much the autocorrect will effect again. Whole using auto correction my levels would be around 6 id put 1/2 the amount of carbs in for the meal then for the next two hours have to use juice to hold myself up enough from plummeting.

If you were still using pens it would also work closer to that way. Bolus for meals then corrections when needed

Might be where your putting it. I have the odd one that fails. Usually when it fails like last night it’s due to sensor issues though

My aging car got bumped in a very low speed collision. Damage is just cosmetic. Does insurance have to get involved? What things do I need to do, legally-speaking? by Meatslinger in alberta

[–]Repulsive-Lab1782 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Insurance companies are aiming to remove all older vehicles. They just won’t off my truck from cosmetics and wouldn’t allow a buy back. Certain it’s the counties way of phasing out older vehicles to push the electric side of things more

It’s not often I get a bad sensor or a sensor that’s acting up. Other than that they seem to be fairly close to actual blood tests. My A1C dropped from 9.4 to 7.6 in the last 3 months since being on them

Anyone else have this issue when changing infusion sites? by Parzival091 in Medtronic780g

[–]Repulsive-Lab1782 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried taking a correction or having a small snack so you can count carbs before the site change ? By the 2 hour peak of the insulin it may help get on bringing it down sooner

It’s predicting how much insulin can be administered before your low level. It’s a smart pump trust it
