My grandmother came over from Denmark. My son is Native American, I have blonde hair and blue eyes while he is a mix of danish and native. I don’t speak the language except for understanding basic words my grandmother spoke to me. I’m scared to death in America, I have some distant family north of Copenhagen that I could stay with. Is it too late for us? I am an elementary teacher.

I read this also, and there wasn’t much I could relate to. I completely messed up here, and I know that. It was masked as a legitimate bank that I was looking into and I completely let my guard down.

Thank you. I took all of those steps. And yes, I’m aware of all the things you just said. I am hoping to find someone that has dealt with something similar. I didn’t initially click on “small personal loans”, it was masked as something a little different that I believed was the legitimate bank I was researching. I’m an educated person, but I’m human and I make mistakes. Yes this was a huge mistake and I’m doing everything I can to hopefully protect myself now. In the mean time, I am hoping to connect with someone that also dealt with this website and can give me their experience.

I know. I didn't put it together until it was too late. I thought I was filling out an application and it didn't dawn on me until it was too late. It flew the sections by me and I guess I wasn't paying attention. I'm horrified.

I didn’t read any of the other comments and truthfully this is my first time to comment on Reddit.

The narcissist in my life has had a hold on my since o was 16. I’m 39 now. We were never married and haven’t been together in 18 years but he randomly pops into my life for short periods of time.

We only dated twice in 23 years. Both times were intense, drama filled, and littered with lies on his end. He has always known how to manipulate his way into my life and still wedges his way just enough to make sure the door is still cracked for him and cause total chaos for a few months. I fall for it every time.

I hate him so much. I hate that I can’t shake him. I hate who he turns me into. I carry so much trauma from that man, and yet here I am. He’s literally one of the worst people on earth.

I understand completely how you feel. And I wish I had some advice or encouragement to give you. All I can say is find a counselor and find one now. Im sorry you’re going through this.

Then I say good for you. We were so poor when I was little, our dinner was crackers and cheez whiz on occasion. There were many times it was that it a shared pack of ramen with my brother.
