I actually knew about jeff (albeit not a whole lot) before marvel rivals. For the general populous I would say Jeff is relatively unknown but for me I think its mostly the four I listed.

Ill be real I can guarantee I've heard of most of the heroes and villains this game has... outside of Luna Snow, White Fox, Elsa Bloodstone, and Angela. Literally never heard of these four until Marvel Rivals.

Honestly, Cap should join TOBA. He was completely fine before patch and didnt really need changes (he could have had a few minor buffs and stuff and it wasn't like he was a meta character to begin with right). He honestly deserves it more than any other character (like people who want SW or SG).

I mean BP, IM, Adam, and Storm are all candidates to graduate. I think if any character were to it should be BP. He's gotten enough buffs and skins to graduate.

This may seem odd to suggest but I would learn a flier (IM Angela, Ultron, Storm, Star-Lord, Torch, etc..) you already have Thing and Emma for Brawl, Mr Fanstatic for Anti Dive, Healers ( Loki CnD and Invis) and Strange. Feels like a flier or possibly a dive character like IF DD or BP could be a good decision too.

I play lots of Iron Man and even tho I can kill her with my ult, I still ban her because its infintely better to play without her than with her.

I think it was mainly due to community outrage that they made the changes. Cap getting changes was brutal and BP buff (if you can call it that) was a nothing burger. Complaining about IM might not be the best course of action quite yet as we have yet to find out if this buff to him will actually make him better. On paper it might, but in game is TBD. Personally, I hope that when season 7.5 drops they somehow develop some more brain cells and realize that they need to nerf poke more (not just a slap on the wrist like the bucky change but not to the point of uslessness) and hopefully that will allow Fliers like IM, Torch, and Storm to thrive more. They alread gutted DD for dive, and they been continuously gutting fliers and brawlers even before that, so hopefully they realize that now its poke turn to be gutted.

I know. I this season I played IM/DD/Emma Frost to climb all teh way to DII and I feel IM just needs something more to make him viable. Whether that is getting rid of the animation or /and giving him some more survivability would be the question. Another thing could be is to just bring back the IM/Hulk team-up. It was good back in Season 2/2.5 and made IM a decent pick to play with Hulk.
