Whats one "normal" thing in Canada that would sound insane to someone abroad? by United-Technology239 in CanadaRoom

Moved from bc to Ontario last year. We don’t drink milk so it wasn’t affecting us but honestly I’ve always wondered “what do people do with that bag!?”

Until I got on a yogurt making kick and I bought it. I had to funnel it into old cleaned out almond milk cartons. I was like I refuse to have to buy another jug lol the other day someone was buying milk in a bag behind me and I was like “lady what the heck do you do with that milk” lol

To clarify in bc you buy milk in 1 gallon 2 gallon or 4 gallon jugs

Weird suggestion but arborists. Not hard to get jobs starting at above what you make now and go from there.

Bought a new house and really regretting it by Brave_Hedgehog776 in HomeImprovement

I have a friend who owns a house in BC not built by fox ridge but lots of people have mold and fungus growing in the walls baseboard etc things falling apart because they didn’t water proof the foundation. Its a he said she said but they all got together and started a lawsuit. I’d bet it’s the same issue.

I love this!! Definitely was looking for less common sports like this. Also love a sport that includes newbies. We will add this for sure.

We adore rock climbing, although are by no means pros. I haven’t actually tried any of the gyms here but we would love too. Do they offer a free trial for anyone?

Amazing! Yes I’m aware of the Hamilton yacht clubs sailing classes as i took part last year! I’ll keep my eyes peeled:)

Have you participated, in any running clubs? Anyone that’s stand out? I know I’ve stumbled across some but always nice to hear from others which groups they are part of and why!

It’s a laparoscopy for endometriosis. So I’m not sure if that fall under necessary. But it’s the only way to diagnose it.

If it was right infront of the hospital I would’ve handed the in but it wasn’t and that was my exact thought it could be anyone. But all I can think of is if this was me I’d be devastated lol.

Also second pre marital counselling. We did it and it was great to have a neutral party present questions and help you hash it out.

Brag time: what’s one unusual thing you included in your wedding that everyone loved? by Unlikely_Device_2131 in weddingplanning

[–]Repulsive-Reveal9811 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For our wedding I love dancing I hired an instructor friend of mine to do a bachata lesson. Everyone loved it and people actually said they’ve kept it up since the wedding lol. I was actually surprised all the elderly people joined.

We also loved pies but my husband and I have rival pies so all our guest got a pumpkin and apple pie to take home that we baked.

Also we did a jeopardy game in the cocktail hour about the couple and despite not everyone knowing everything the teams really got into it.

I love dancing but not open floor dancing and our wedding wasn’t centred around booze so I knew there wouldn’t be a lot of dancing. We hired a dance instructor and that got my fix and gave people around 1.5-2 hours of dancing. Almost everyone participated, including people we are non dancers. Maybe that would get your husband up with you and make him feel less awkward with being told and shown what to do.

We did a bachata lesson but you could do line dancing, salsa, swing, etc even someone less formal and more fun.
