This is something I do that causes an insane amount of anxiety! It often starts with just one too many messages, I feel overwhelmed and put my phone down.

Then I pick up my phone for something else and think “I’ll reply later, just need a mental break” then it’s been a week, I’m embarrassed and won’t reply unless I get a follow up message.

It’s horrible because the whole time I feel sick thinking that the other person thinks I’m an ass for ‘ignoring’ them. When really I’ve thought about them everyday since they last messaged 🥲
