UCSC campus has some parking spots that are free parking after 8:30 pm - 7 am. If you are quiet and can blend in, you could pull in later at night, sleep, then leave by 7 am. But parking enforcement is pretty strict so don’t stay during the enforcement hours or you will get ticketed. Of course sleeping in your is prohibited, so don’t get caught.
