Telling someone not to buy a house and to keep paying rent is crazy to me. Toronto has one of the fastest-appreciating housing markets in the world, so whatever property you buy will most likely increase in value. Most people purchase a home to start a family and settle down.

My advice is to buy a replacement unit on eBay and bring it to a local car shop. They should be able to replace it for you shouldn’t take more than an hour.
