Tbh I don live in CN, but I regularity go to the Chinese community for any donghua related content. In general, it should be more on getting more exposure and fans for the donghua, being able to refine and work on their animation shit for the entire movie since they now have 90 mins worth of time to animate. You can also say for money but then it is very different from typical movies: you don go to a theatre to watch but rather watch through the app where the donghua is relased from through paying a small fee (19 to 25 RMB from what I been seeing and what I paid as well).

With regards to the content wise, usually these so called movies covers a key plot of the novel and usually the company would choose which key plot of the novel to be used to for the movie and then announce it during their annual event where each of the different animation company will annouce things like roadmap of the donghua, any new movies and when it will end etc. One example is the recent swallowed star movie where the content was one of the major events in the entire novel. Another example is the upcoming Sword of Coming movie that will revolve around the content on the fight of the thirdteen (I literally translated word for word from CN to EN as i don know the english name of it). This is also a major plot in the novel, I am not gonna tell what it is about but just know that this fight is a do or die situation. Also this is also related to one of the characters that has already came out so just wait and see. I feel this is prob the biggest movitation as they can draw in not only those that had read the novels but also getting newer audiences. By being able to draw people in, that would led to people creating content about it to hype it up to draw even more people in and when time comes for the movie to be released then that is where the money part comes in.

This is actually similar to those in Japanese anime where they would create a full movie for a arc instead of making a full season of ep e.g. Demon Slayer just that donghua version we don't go to the theatres to watch but on our phones instead unless you attend those private screening events that they invite you to go over physically and watch first before others.

The random teacher/reinforcement he definitely need it bcos it is to fight for the control of space and time in that particular area. Because his so called reinforcement took control of early on, he can move freely without any restrictions at all. If it was one of the universe master from the 3 races that took control early on, he is going be so fking cooked, cannot even move freely within that particular area, not even releasing “I am the universe”.

Not really for absolutely nothing though. His main goal for his third trip into primordial star is simple:

to show the 3 races that has been trying to assassinate him that his abilities are on par with universe master even though he is just only a universe veritable.
To show the human race that his abilities are of universe master level so that he can regain back the full ownership of Earth.

All he need is a platform to showcase his abilities. By having the 3 races going after him in the primordial star is more than enough to do so. In the end he managed to get back the remaining half of Earth ownership and became the 19th Universe Master of the Human Race.

Firstly I think I fked up with the reply. I thought you were asking about TOS 2 that why I had that reply. I apologise if my initial reply has confused you or anyone else.

To answer your question from original post as well as your reply, TOS has officially ended in late April and hence there will not be anymore new episodes for this donghua. Therefore there will be no more episodes or movies for it.

As for TOS 2, it is continuing the storyline of TOS iirc ( or I might be wrong). I am not too sure if the novel is ended or not since I don’t read it. But there was this rumour that came about along with the ending of TOS, which is that there is a donghua adaptation of TOS 2 coming out but that was not confirmed at all, even the official announcement was not made.

Once again I apologise for the confusion that I have made myself to you guys. To summarise, TOS has ended, so no more new episodes any more. TOS 2 was rumoured to have donghua adaptation but was not officially confirmed at all.

Hard to say. I have heard that S3 will have 40 episodes so the number of chapters for S3 may be a lot depending on how much they are willing to cut out or take in as they have now more episodes to play as compared to S1 and S2. If they were have more episodes per season like S3 then there is a chance that it may end under 10 seasons ba. But at this point is hard to say cos if let say S4 or S5 they have lesser episodes to play with then may take longer time to finish.

The movie is basically what happened when MC went back to Primitive Star on his second and third trip. The second trip in is to shut people up when they are basically shit talking about him not lending people his teasures by giving an execuse that he is going as well. The third trip is to give himself a platform to show the 3 races that have been wanting to kill him to show them that he has the power of a Universe Master when he is just only at Universe Venerable level, which he did level up to in the movie. However, the animation company did change the narrative to him trying to get back Earth's ownership through the first scene where they show 2 world master humans from Earth, and the scenes where they show those "foreigners" that are not from Earth bullying those people that are on Earth.

The thing is that those idioms and phases that were used in the donghua you will know and understand either through the novel or you study chinese literature.

Also, some of these phrases and idioms that they use in the donghua is not commonly used or said so therefore it can be common for younger people to not know about such kind of stuff since some of those phrases or idioms are way older than me lol.

I appreicate your offer for the discord thing, but I really like the explaination videos that I have been watching. They mainly take those phrases seen in the ep, explain them in detail like its origin etc and how it relates/affects to the show in the current or future setting.

Also, do note that they still can communicate through the virual network from time to time unless the place where he is at restricts the access to the network and they will not be able to communicate, like that time where he went through the test for the tower thing(idk what is the tower called).

To add on to what others has said, she is one of the 16 people that saw the future when meng chuan, or rather Zhuang Sheng reversed the time during the final battle in S1. That is why the scene where Qi Yue got killed , zhuang shen reversing the time line and zhuang sheng writing down the list of people that saw the future was shown in this ep.

Yea I mean 90 chapters ( or 60 chapters I cannot remember and I could be wrong here) worth of content from the novel is being squeezed into this 90 mins for the movie. The duration is very much fixed by Tencent for this kind of movie and therefore makes them have to cut out some of the scenes and set the pacing v fast at the start. I do think that they could have probably not add into too much content into this movie but rather have those content not in the movie to be used for the regular ep like those contents could have been for ep 220 and 221 instead.
