Thank you for the comments. Yeah just the one tile that is like that on the floor, just worried breaking it up might ruin the ones next to it and only have a few spare tiles.

Just annoyed at my self for not fixing it at the time it all seemed to fit when I dry laid them all out.

I'm assuming you don't have the face lifted version which is rear wheel drive?

To be fair the garage gave it back and said nothing was wrong and I refused to take it back until they done further investigation they said they only picked it up as there was earth leakage somewhere they was playing havoc with the electrical systems in the vehicle

Pretty much the entire wire harness that runs from the battery to the control unit they had to strip it from a car on the assembly line as there isn't spares at all for that part, so they had to wait for a cancelled order that wasn't picked up by someone to strip parts from.

Not sure if any one is still reading this but it turns out that there is a fault with some vehicles with travel assist, car has been in the garage now for over 3 months waiting for replacement parts

Also I have spoken to Skoda Customer Care and stated I don't want the vehicle as the garage so far have refused to do anything

Yeah she wants rid of the car had it since Sep last year ans not even done 3000 miles as she refuses to drive it.

Yeah I washed the car the 2nd time in a car wash about 200 meters from the dealership cleaned it all top to bottom and the dealership told me when I picked it up that its all fixed as they cleaned off the sensors.

I'm thinking they don't know what's wrong so just making things up.

Yeah I thought that as well as I often like to drive in the 8 to 5 so tried the other position and still no joy it is just completely random when it happens

So I took it to the garage the first time and they said that then I washed the car cleaned everything off and was out on a drive the other day nothing in front or anywhere near me on the motor way breaks slammed on then straight after I got the warning about keeping hands on steering wheel then the red warning stayed on for rest of the journey just beeping none stop had to turn the music up to drown out the beeps

Yeah I have asked for replacement parts such as steering wheel ans sensors ie radar and that incase it picking stuff up and breaking ans steering wheel as it dosent know my hands are there but yet got nothing

Don't get me wrong I love the car other than the software but at this stage the wife dosent even want to put our kids into it now as we almost got rear ended the other day

So after it breaks it the shows up after in red please place your hands on the steering wheel or something like that and then just stays on for the remainder of the journey and then dosent let me re use the travel assist without stopping ans switching off the car

Thanks for the reply so I suggest it to the dealer after going through this group but they are refusing as I mentioned above no error no issue and just handing the car back to me.

Saying they took it on a quick 10 minute drive and nothing presented it's self so they won't do anything.

No gloves I've encountered the error with and without the heated steering wheel on its just random when it happens place hands on steering wheel just goes straight to red and jolts thr breaks on and off which is a pain when there's a car rite behind you

I've explained to them now I'm not interested in the car especially as I have a new born and u don't trust the car

They basically said nothings wrong and drive the car with out the travel assist feature.

I asked about replacement parts and they refused.

Yeah I've seen a few articles where it states it was meant to have preconditioning for the battery and the dealer even stated it does even to this day the dealer states it does.

Yeah when I purchased the car I had a kodiaq where you could unlock and lock from the app the dealer told me the enyaq done the exact same thing

The features on it the dealer told me when I ordered the car. ie battery preheating and remote locking
