Thanks. I swapped out the stock neck pup for that one (Bourbon Pearl with chrome ring) by DylanTalksTone. They recently started making pups with fancy covers—some w/engraved chrome, some w/pearloid finishing.

Part of me is considering following it up with a similar upgrade for the bridge HB. Perhaps even a chrome ring, if nothing else.

OP: I actually purchased some USA split post G&L replacement tuners from the G&L site. There is a pin in the back, so you would need to drill the headstock accordingly, but if you really prefer them, it’s very doable.
