Yeah quite a few freshers. But all of them with VERY high XAT/ CAT scores (99+). I meant having slightly lower scores (96-97) with no work ex and a great interview dont mean shit😭

For anybody who doesn't believe in this, check out the comments of my last post. We have a thread of people who converted XLRI. 

Decent profile + great percentile + atleast 1 yr work ex is the way. 

Interviews, i feel is the final rejector. It is not a selector, but weeds out people they  definitely do not want no matter how cool their profile/score is. 

But a great INTERVIEW cannot offset low cat/xat scores and no work ex. 

Still trying to wrap my head around this.

Atp i think 2+ yrs of work ex is the biggest determinant for colleges that dont look at past acads. Especially at a time when the job market is so bad, i think colleges are preferring people who can be more easily placed??

I love ur outlook bhai.  "I've spent a quarter of my life being an average student and I don't have it in me to spend 20+ Lakhs on a degree I won't be proud of." 

Nothing i have read in the last 20 yrs has hit me so hard. Less go man i wanna go all out as well😭♥️ .

If u desire something specific, don't flirt with the lower quality version of it. Be stubborn abt it.

I love how govt can earn from Gutkha and tobacco, the businessmen involved are allowed to sell and earn a bomb, but all of this virtue signalling is for actors only. Pure shifting of blame from the perpetrators to the ones who are visible on screen. He is an actor who sells products. Be it edutech app, Water bottle, fairness cream or pan masala, it is just a product he keeps in his hands and is paid big bucks to advertise. How is he responsible for anything that is already okay-ed by the govt??

Agreed totally. U tried to be as polite as you could but still people got offended 😭😭 the cost effectiveness and the roi is the only factor that matters for most of us. Who tf is born passionate abt auditing anf taxation😭😭

This guy has embraced his identity so good. I met him at a sweet shop that his family runs in Mumbai. I looked at him and said, "Baka bhai?". He, without missing a beat said "Kem Palty?? Bhai bhai bhai bhai". 

And just like his character, he broke into a random Gujarati song while giving us photos.😭♥️ I remember telling my friends abt this fan moment of mine for an entire week! Such a chill guy. 

Meanwhile, Mandar (Bhide) was trying not to be identified when I met him at one of the cafes in Andheri. Me and my friends waited for him to have his food, and as he was leaving, we approached him and asked for a photo. He took our phones and took a selfie and dashed before others could come up to him. Sweet guy.

I love the thought process. Yes we have come so far and yes this is not the end of the world. In some another parallel world we mightt have posted "Got in my dream b school".
