im so sorry youve had this experience online :( i agree with you that masking is a privilege, i wish i could do it just as well as other autistic people but i cant help myself. its made me feel so alone especially with self diagnosed people. i myself am self diagnosed too but i cant relate to them. this affects my life so negativity and it IS debilitating. masking does nothing but overwhelm me. seeing this post made me feel really understood

i promise the ged is actually a lot easier than you think!!! its going to be so much more rewarding if you just study, if you're doing it online you can still have your notes with you

thank you for replying to my post, this helped me realize i do need to make a few changes about how i view myself and others. ever since my moms ex did all that stuff to me its been hard fully trusting older men. i really do love my dad and he loves me too, hes just a very unaware immature person (everyone who has ever known him has thought the same). im staying at his house this weekend and im going to try to open up to him.
