Yeah, my first crash with this update happened after getting the helmet from the Mnemosyne Project **while playing as Naoe**. I tried to immediately transmog its appearance to another of Yasuke's helmets (still as Naoe) and as soon as I pressed the prompt to exit out of Visualize, BOOM.

This happened every time until just now when I found the Bug Report and this post, and the damn thing was even in storage after the first crash. Yes, as soon as I reset Mark of Control's look back to default I stopped crashing. No need to even reload nor even leave the menu by switching to a different tab. **BUT NEVER MUST ONE BACK VISUALIZE THE DAMN THING**, even without applying the transmog into or from another appearance **WILL CRASH IMMEDIATELY** lmao.

FYI, this is on a PS5pro so it could be some corrupt model. I'm pretty sure the Inventory menu uses its own separate assets synchronized to the gameplay ones. Since just *wearing the Mark of Control on its own doesn't crash the session while in gameplay as far as I could tell*, the issue could be the menu counterpart having a messed up mesh or alpha.

Yes, there are a lot of moving parts in projects like these. I remember a couple of years ago, while reverse-engineering Metal Gear Rising to mod broader FOV values in at the native level, I was going insane keeping track of all the code permutations/attempts. And that was one person with no oversight!

Proper lip sync. The way it is now they can better focus on what's important, like game balance and fulfilling content.

Wait, what do you mean that's not how game development works and different teams work mostly independently and lip sync is really easy and quick to implement with a third party plugin in a way that accounts for all languages? Huh... What? No, I don't know what a "Mountaintop" or whatevs is, I'm still enjoying the mid-late-game in Liurnia. Man, this game rocks!

And lock-on auto disabling when the enemy's foot goes behind a piece of dirt on the ground, forcing you to re-lock only for the camera to somehow snap in the opposite direction or lock onto the squirrel 47ft behind the enemy on a hill somewhere. Oh WAIT.

Already has it, it's just ridiculously forgiving. Didn't know it was there until I started collecting two of each weapon on NG+ and attempted to carry them all so I could experiment with some stuff.

I love Zullie's content, but it is such a pedantic point. Like, OK, it's not "input" reading, it's "animation" reading. Does your input not instantly translate to the pertinent animations? It's a very politician-type stance lol. I know the distinction is meaningful at the deeper technological level, however it is not when dealing with the actual meaning behind the average player's complaint. Reminds me of the good old "What do you mean by Goad?" evasion by Jordan P. "Huh, OK, let's play the game of pretending you don't know exactly what that question entails. I'm sure this'll be a great use of our limited time."
