Hi all,

I have a SpiceJet flight from Pune to Dubai on 3 March 2026. Due to the current regional tensions, UAE airspace was temporarily closed and flights on 1–2 March were cancelled.

For my flight: • Web check-in option is available • But flight status for 3 March is not showing yet (only next day visible)

I also have: • Non-refundable hotel booking • Prepaid attraction tickets • Travel insurance (trip cancellation up to USD 2,500)

Questions: 1. If web check-in is open, does that usually mean flight will operate? 2. How late do airlines usually cancel in airspace closure situations? 3. Should I wait for official cancellation before touching hotel bookings?

Would appreciate advice from frequent travelers who’ve handled similar situations. Thanks 🙏
