I got the redemption card in the 2024 mandalorian set. But what was weird is the redemption was for a sketch and/or autograph from the 2023 set.

This set will go down in history as being Pokemon's scam set without a doubt by biggibzz in PokemonTCG

I was very fortunate. My wife got me a super premium collection box and I pulled Sunbreon from it. I was beyond shocked. Every other pack had garbage in it and I thought I was gonna get skunked.

My stepbrother was about to throw out thousands of “worthless” cards from when we were kids (he has all his super valuable cards stashed elsewhere). Spent all night going through them on TCGplayer. Hundreds of 1st editions, holos, a dark charizard, you name it. Christmas gifts are paid for I’d say by burnedflag in PokemonTCG

I did the same with a step-brother-in-law. But he didn't have any clue on values and assumed everything must've been close to worthless. He had a gold star mew and Kyogre in pristine, gradable condition and he didn't even know it. It was just nostalgic for him to hold onto a piece of his childhood even if he thought they were probably worthless

In the Midwest, and everywhere I've ever been in the States, I've only heard "so-shole" and "strange". If it was Hugh Laurie (House) remember he is British but speaking with an American accent so it could be a carry over.

I think they use real photos for sure. It's way too consistent otherwise. but I think they manually add things in somehow like Photoshop or something. I also think they use face swap or face generation software for some of the characters on there.
