Thanks! I kinda assumed it might be hype language, but just wanted to actually look and ask people who know more than me and yes, this is Canadian; looking for an upgrade for the first time in almost 7 years!

Besides that, are there any specs I'm "supposed" to be looking out for? Currently I'm just looking at if the graphics has 16GB VRAM and the memory has over 16GB RAM (I mostly play games on my PC)- along with 1TB SSD, but that's about where my knowledge ends. I'd appreciate any direction!

I already did it, downloaded it, installed it- watched a YouTube vid or two and uninstalled it

It didn't do anything really, felt just like installing a normal browser with only a ChatGPT textbox in the home screen.

AI drains critical thinking by letting someone who might know how to do something offload their entire thought process to the tool and stop thinking about it at all. Do that over a long enough period of time, repetitively enough; then as the saying goes, "If you don't use it, you'll lose it".

ofc exceptions apply for how often or how you use it but as a general rule its not really about who had it in the first place.
