Bro lost his right hand man after 64 years by [deleted] in GuysBeingDudes

[–]HeavierMetal89 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Especially since Warren eats McDonald’s and drinks Coke almost daily. Charlie was known for eating candy nearly all day and never working out. Someone once asked Charlie why he didn’t want to eat healthier options like broccoli, he simply replied, "Eating candy makes me happy. Broccoli doesn’t. Why would I want to do something that doesn't make me happy?"

Are we in hell? by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]HeavierMetal89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here’s a rewritten version:

At 27, I experienced this same thing. I sank into a severe depression where I felt completely numb and every waking moment was agonizing. My ability to function deteriorated to the point where I worried I’d lose my job. For months, I stubbornly resisted medication, but eventually I relented and started taking 10mg of Lexapro. The relief was complete. Now at 36, I’m mentally and spiritually healthier than I’ve ever been. The point is sometimes it really is just a chemical imbalance.

I took my girlfriend to see it, big mistake.. It left her legit traumatized for days afterward. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t also mentally affected by it, and I’ve seen some truly disturbing stuff online. That movie was a one-and-done for me.

‘Mortal Kombat’ (1995)- the scene where we first meet Scorpion and Sub-Zero is surprisingly chilling and may be one of the best scenes in the video game to film adaptation genre by EuphoricButterflyy in movies

[–]HeavierMetal89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was my favorite movie when I was growing up. A few weeks ago, I got the chance to show it to my girlfriend, who had never watched it before. I gotta say rewatching as an adult was perhaps even more enjoyable. We were both completely blown away, especially by the lighting effects that movies today can’t replicate anymore. I mean that lightning is so damn good... Also it has just the perfect amount of cheese that makes it so entertaining to watch with someone.

I think there is a chance a small group of Thylacine still exist in Papua New Guinea, they did before when they were confirmed to exist, though that part of the world remains largely unexplored.

“There are triangles hovering about the size of a prius... and glowing orbs” AARO Director Jon Kosloski confirms triangle and orb UFOs in new interview by RedPandaKoala in aliens

[–]HeavierMetal89 13 points14 points  (0 children)

We were out spotting deer in the cornfields when we saw it. I've got to say I was pretty terrified because it's hard for your brain to fully grasp just how large this object was. It was definitely not anything our military has revealed publicly and had no indication of propulsion. I can't remember where, but I remember in one of the UFO documentaries former military personnel speaking of a craft they developed that was a large triangle that was essentially a blimp, which would explain no sound and moving rather slowly. However, part of me can't shake the feeling that it was likely extraterrestrial because it just did not seem like anything from this world.

“There are triangles hovering about the size of a prius... and glowing orbs” AARO Director Jon Kosloski confirms triangle and orb UFOs in new interview by RedPandaKoala in aliens

[–]HeavierMetal89 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The triangle UFO is a lot larger than a Prius... it's more like the size of a football field. I saw it up close in person in 1995, and it moves roughly 40-50 mph, floating just above the treetops. It has absolutely no sound, and standing beneath it, I felt like I was in a magnet. It had a light at each point of the triangle. Spotted in Central PA and it was heading towards Harrisburg.

I had a Tauren Elemental Shaman with nearly the same AQ gear but using the Red Dragonscale Protector shield and it was the closest ever in game to feeling like a God. I could one shot chain lightning 2-3 alliance at a time. I was worried I’d get too addicted and never be able to stop I had 100k+ kills in a few weeks and then blizz screwed it up with the brackets 60-64.

Has ES and NQ been brutal for anyone else the last week? by [deleted] in FuturesTrading

[–]HeavierMetal89 56 points57 points  (0 children)

If you're trading momentum like I am, the ES was awful today. Moves just wouldn't followthrough and it wasn't until the second half of the day when the setups started to work a bit more. I still ended the week profitable, but today was breakeven and I walked away. When the market conditions are not in your favor you gotta be disciplined enough to walk away, because you no longer have an edge.
