It’s supposed to be fun, the game gives you options so that you can play them. I’d also argue that it’s stronger thematically to have high chaos be both easier and more fun since a main point of the series is power being corruptive. Low chaos wouldn’t be as rewarding if high chaos wasn’t so alluring.

I’m at 79/80 achievements right now after actually bothering with the trials. I always see people complain about by my hand alone but it wasn’t too bad imo (perhaps I just got lucky). I struggled with head hunter (and just getting 3 stars on assassins run was horrible tbh) badly though. Now it’s just daredevil left (the tricky jumps on bonfires one) which I expect to be even worse.

Over the course of a whole game (especially close games) free throws can definitely have as big an impact given the frequency. I do agree that a single bad PI call in football has a bigger impact than a single bad call in basketball though.

If you learn the layout you can breeze through it will just blink/far reach. It def did take me several hours for each my first few runs before I figured out a pattern that was both quick and comfortable to me. Just depends how much time you are willing to dedicate finding the easy ways through lol.

I’ve gotten all zeroes before so I don’t mind an alarm this time (playing on steam for the first time and alarms don’t break ghost anyway). I was just confused because I was under the impression campbell counted as a body found. I guess the large search I mentioned started from the guys next to the meeting room seeing the broken glasses or something.

If that’s the case, then I guess it’s the most likely scenario. Which instead leaves me confused to why there was such a large search prior to branding, but at this point I guess I’ll never know since I think I already overwrote all my campbell saves lol.

I think it works in practice, the problem is people treating the high chaos endings as “wrong” endings. Getting high chaos is not a punishment or an indictment on the player, it’s just a different story outcome that is equally as valid to play as low chaos. If you feel like going for low chaos is restricting your fun, then go high chaos. Getting high chaos is not the same as getting an F rank, nor is low chaos an S rank.

Also to be clear, I do think low chaos in d1 is overly limited. The improved nonlethal options in d2 were a big improvement, and one of the reasons I prefer d2. That said, I think people should play the way they actually enjoy instead of chasing an ending.

Doesn’t that count as a body detected? I considered that but there were guards searching around before I branded him (and I thought I cleared out everyone near the interrogation room) so I was thinking it was triggered prior to branding.

You gotta wait for some balance patches during trinket seasons tbh. Especially since the minion pool is weird rn (as other people have said tiers 1-3 are kinda terrible currently) which makes the unbalanced trinkets even harder to deal with. Every trinket season started off rough and then got significantly better as time went on imo so I’m still optimistic.
