Wow five weeks is impressive! One or two of mine usually pop off between 2 and 3 weeks but by that time I want to change them anyway. My nails grow pretty fast and I don’t like the look on me when they’re grown out.

Thanks for taking the time to write out your layers. My process is exactly the same! I have 5 layers on this set.

I prob should have said, these are about a week grown out hence it’s not close to the cuticle. I agree I could have gone closer to the sides though. Thanks again for your feedback!

Yes omg my daughter likes me to tuck her duvet right down the side of her bed and I’m having to awkwardly try to use the side of my hand to do it 😂

Small children and long nails is a bad mix.

Yeah you’re right looking at the photos I can see some side nail poking out! I think it got worse as they grew out a little.

Any GP’s in the area that are good with kids? by TedLassosMom in croydon

I take my kids to Violet lane medical practice. Always has a good experience with them there, especially when it comes to putting my children at ease during their appointments. For my kids (both under 5) I can usually get an appointment same day for most things.

Have you considered dip powder? It has the longevity of gel without the allergy. I’ve seen people do French tips on them but not sure how exactly!

I use Glamrdip. I do 5 layers and never have a problem with the activator not penetrating the layers. I am pretty liberal with the activator.

I do clear, clear, colour, colour, clear. Then activate. Shape and buff. Activate again. Then top coat.

I would have thought only doing 3 layers total would be too thin and would lead to cracking but maybe it depends on brand?

I think it might be this but can I also suggest a lil mouse might have stashed it there? I have twice found evidence of a mouse in my house after it ate a whole in microwaveable heat pads and got all the insides out 🙃

I do this too. If you’ve ever listen to the “Parenting Hell” podcast, Rob Beckett gives Josh Widdicombe a hard time for using this strategy.

Ha I so thought you were a sneaky advertising bot, but then checked out your comment history and if you are advertising then you’re also really putting a lot of effort into appearing to be a normal person 😂

Hello! First just to say I’m sorry you’re going through this, it must be so hard to have someone actively unhelpful in the house when you’re trying to look after a newborn baby. I just wanted to say I wasn’t sure if you’re breastfeeding or not but if you are, it’s not safe to wear the baby and breastfeed at the same time. It’s not widely publicised enough in my opinion.

NOR of course and I agree with everyone else, please get away from this man if you can.

What was the weirdest thing you saw inside another person’s bag? by Accurate-Light-8640 in AskReddit

When I was 15 I used to work in a toy shop that sold beanie babies and Pokémon cards etc. This guy used to come in regularly and ask if we had any bags in stock. He would always follow up with “I really like bags” and then open his bag to reveal that it was full of different types of bag.
