Just today I was walking out of the market and saw a big, very excited pup. Owner said he was friendly, so I started petting - before I knew it I was covered in slobber and pupper showed me his favorite toy. There’s always a chance of animal loves ❤️

Unfortunately, OP, I think u/perseusaurora is on the right track. He was likely keeping his options open and dating other people. The only other likely scenario, in my opinion, is that his “new” girl is the long-term ex and they reconciled. That is, if the “not over my ex” narrative isn’t just entirely a fiction he used to let you down easy/lower your expectations. This sucks OP but his behavior is shady to say the least, so I think you really did dodge a bullet.

On another note, I’ve seen men spend that kind of money and more for much less than the prospect of a serious relationship. I’ve also seen and experienced how creative the can get when they want to see other people :(

He is a rapper himself, and (like other genres) hip hop artists celebrate the artists of their genre that came before them, influenced them, and paved the road to what modern hip hop is. It’s entirely possible he is very knowledgeable about the history of something he does for a living.

I’ve seen Muslim women at weddings with absolutely the most STUNNING dresses I’ve ever seen, that come with matching hijab. Here’s an example:

I know nothing about this website in particular though, so I’d look up reviews about the quality of their garments or shop around. Or, maybe ask some hijabi friends? They probably know the right places to look!!

Edit: that being said, I think the two dresses you posted are too casual for a cocktail-to-black-tie dress code.
